We really enjoyed this wine tour. Our guide Valentina was amazing. She taught us so much history of the area and we learned a lot about the wine making process, and what makes it unique in this region. It rained the entire day which could have negatively impacted our experience but Valentina did a great job of keeping us engaged and taking advantage of the breaks in the rain when we could see amazing views as well as the vines up close. We had four tastings during the day, three at vineyards and one at the tour operator’s wine shop. The vineyards were great but the wine to purchase was expensive. The restaurant we were dropped at for lunch was beautiful and had amazing views but was slightly expensive for the quality of the food. The one suggestion I have for the tour operator is to ensure the pick up location in Viator is where you will actually pick up. The location in the app/tickets said one location while an email confirmation said another. I messaged the tour operator to get clarification and didn’t receive a response. We picked one of the two to meet at and were luckily correct but a couple in our group went to the other location and it took awhile to find them, communicate with them and we started the day late. Otherwise, great experience. Valentina was a gem. I would do another tour with her without hesitation.

Marlene was an excellent guide for our family of 4 with adult children in their 20s. We were part of a fun group of 7 and found the overall experience to outstanding. The diversity of CDP was showcased at three different wineries and completed with a few extra tastes in the owners cellar. Another highlight of the day was a spectacular lunch in a gorgeous setting. We ordered a case to be shipped to us so that we can remember this day with each bottle. Highly recommend!

Our Chateauneuf du Pape tour with Romain was as enjoyable and informative as we possibly could have hoped. Romain’s expertise, passion, personality, and rapport with the local producers proved to be a terrific combination. We couldn’t recommend him more highly if you want a memorable guided tour of the southern Rhone. Five stars! Jan and Chip-Denver, CO.

This was the ultimate Chateuneuf-du-Pape experience. Our guide Marlene was a fully qualified sommelier who was able to give us a wealth of information about soils, overcrops, grapes, rules, fermentation, storage, tasting notes and in short everything you could possibly want to know about the wines and the appellation. We joked with her that there would be a test at the end - and we could have easily passed it, but wanted to fail and return the next day for a retest! The wineries visited all had different expressions and opinions about how to get the best out of the soils and climates of the region. We learned about the effect of the Mistral winds and how the growers deal with them. The wines were all excellent and in fact most of us purchased a case to send back to the US - very reasonable in that the savings in avoiding the French taxes was pretty much close to the shipping cost - ad the cost was a huge savings compared to what we would have to pay in the US. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good wine.

My wife and I spent two weeks traveling in the South of France and this was the highlight of our trip. I can't say enough about Romain's kindness, knowledge, and hospitality. My wife and I are wine enthusiasts, but we are no experts. We booked a private tour for just the two of us and requested the "Private Premium Full Day Wine Tour: Exclusive Châteaux Tour", which is listed on Romain's Provence & Wine website. We toured and tasted wines at three different châteaus over the course of the day, had lunch with a wine pairing at a fourth châteaux, and ended the day at Romain's cave/shop in the middle of Châteauneuf du Pape where we tasted wines from the region that we didn't get to visit. We took photos of all the wines we liked during the day, and mixed and matched two cases to be sent home. This was a very convenient way for us to remember and enjoy these wines when we got home. In every way, Romain gave us an unforgettable experience we would never have had access to on our own.

It was a great experience! It’s hard to come around several wineries by myself, but this tour allows to make it. The tasting at each winery was so interesting and fantastic! Thanks Marlne😃

Top-tier wines, amazing views, extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide... What more do you need in a wine tour? Our group had a range of wine knowledge coming in, from novice to expert, and there was something for everyone. Added bonus: you're able to ship a selection of wines home if you like, instead of trying to send a case of just one winery's bottles home. Thank you, Romain, for an unforgettable experience!

Just a spectacular tour. Roman is extremely knowledgeable yet explains things in laypersons language. He brought lots of insight into the region and its practices. And the wine tasting was stellar. It was a bonus to visit his wine shop at the end to taste other great French wines from outside the region to compare the styles. A great day

Out of the many tours that I’ve done, this one was my favorite. The wineries visited all have amazing very highly rated wines (92 pts and above) and Roman, the guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and kind. If you’re in the area this is a must-do. You won’t be disappointed!!
