Great, delicious experience. To be clear, we didn’t do a museum or history tour. We had a private chocolate making experience. We were welcomed by Laurens, who led us to a kitchen and had us wash up and don aprons. After that, he walked us through the technique of hand-piping our own chocolates. There were three vats or fountains of dark, milk, and white chocolate where the four of us could try our hand at making as many chocolate designs as we could carry. Laurens showed us artful techniques, but we were so enthralled with the chocolate that I ended up making a bunch of shapeless blobs so I could hide them from my family. I was amazed at how delicious the milk chocolate was. Laurens was friendly and helpful, and seemed passionate about his work and eager to share it with others.

A great museum collection and excellent portrayal of the history of chocolate. Loved the sound bytes and the chocolate demo.

Very in depth collection in history of the making of chocolate all the way from the start in Central America to how it got to Europe. We took the family on this experience, expecting more of it to be about chocolate making, but it was a very small portion of it, guided tour is very in depth and the artifacts are quite interesting. If you pair this with a different tour, it may be worth the money.

Entertaining and informative museum about the history of chocolate. Self-guided tour with free audio guide. You get a free sample at the beginning and at the end! There are some interactive exhibits, but don't expect it to be like Cadbury World!

This experience making your own delicious Belgian chocolate’s is incredibly and is fun and relaxing and the same time, plus you will have hand made chocolate’s for your souvenirs for family and friends; I definitely recommend this activity to everyone.

It was a very informative tour. They offered unlimited chocolates in various flavors. They space out visitors well to where there is no crowding.

Had a great time learning all about chocolate. Watching a chocolate making demonstration & enjoying free chocolate was a wonderful bonus.

Despite having pre-ordered a ticket, I had to wait in line with others who had not purchased a ticket. The museum way-finding was challenging to follow. The museum was crowded and hard to navigate. I was not able to view the demonstration.

This is an excellent museum. It explains the history and development of chocolate with a mixture of displays and audio recordings. The museum is designed to appeal to families and the audio recordings are short and easy to follow. You can tap your device beside each display so you can choose which recordings to listen to. I saw the smallest chocolate pot in the collection - the 'selfish' pot - and trembling pots to be attached to carriages. Also many examples of cocoa bean pods and just about everything else connected with chocolate. Do go.

Another audio tour rather than person. Informative but lots of stairs for older people. Fairly expensive for a small museum but you did get a chocolate.
