Potsdam

Potsdam eventually became a royal residence. This brought part of the splendor that we see, palaces and gardens where the royal families and their courts ruled and walked. There are many interesting places to see in Potsdam. We will see part of them, again, with the company and the explanations of our guide, but, in addition, in our free time, we will be able to continue exploring all the corners of this enclave.

Often too much talking and not enough time to explore. Too rushed to do all in one day. Would suggest only doing Sachsenhausen only and seperate day at Potsdam. Did not like having English and Spanish commentary.

The amount of historical detail the guide knew about each aspect of the tour; the personal and sensitive interpretations given by Matias especially at the camp. A friendly; informative and thought provoking trip.

Visit to concentration camp and beautiful city of Potsdam. Great guides with very interesting stories of history and events

Great tour. But English and Spanish groups were mixed together on the same bus. It was somewhat annoying to listen something we did not understand at all for a long period of time. Our English guid was great. We heard many stories from the tour.

Our guide was excellent, but they combined us with a Spanish group and we spent half the trip listening to mostly Spanish. We picked an English tour. Until now our Viator excursions have been great but you missed the mark on this one. The bus was hot. Our air did not work until late afternoon and we had to buy water that wasn’t cold. Again we loved our guide. He was exceptional on German history.

The tour didn’t start well with standstill traffic on the highway out which shaved about 45 minutes off an already rushed itinerary. That said, it was great value, so nice to be toured around and not have to do our own logistics to Sachenhausen and Potsdam. The guide, Daniel, animation and storytelling was excellent. He gave the history in a factual manner and didn’t hold back on some opinions, which I happened to agree with. There was so much value in a guided tour to provide needed content and enrichment. The coach bus was comfortable and there was even a narrated tour as we wound through the major sites of Berlin en route back. Would highly recommend. Besides this tour is the only one offering both these sites in a single trip

Nobody other guides, locals Police and even your agent could tell us and another couple directed by Google Maps to exact same spot we were waiting at to where tour started. Thus missed pickup even thought at place 45 minutes before departure. And tour guide AND agent not interested. Had document stated Freedom fountain and not some unknown address would have had tour. Totally unprofessional unacceptable and will advise who ever will listen NOT To use your booking company or the tour operator that was used. Apparatus a Spanish company.

Great tour. Richard was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable. The coach was comfortable and the roses were shot. We had plenty of time in Potsdam, but I wish we had more time to explore the concentration camp. The tour is combined with a Spanish tour group, but that didn’t effect my trip at all.
