We highly recommend Ryan and Birding Man Adventures. Ryan is very knowledgeable on a wide variety of birds, and he was able to take us to see the birds we wanted to see, mostly birds of prey. Although we saw many species, the highlights were the Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Osprey, Red Tailed Hawks, and a Great Horned Owl. We were able to see four nests with chicks! Amazing! Ryan helped us make the most of our limited time in Colorado, and we would not have been able to see all the species without him! We hope to take another tour with him, next time we are in Denver.

Ryan gave a wonderful birding tour around the Boulder, Golden, Longmont, Lyons, Nederland area of Colorado. He showed us many variety of different species of birds in their nesting spots and habitat. We even got to see some Big Horn sheep. Ryan has a keen sense and good eye sight of spotting and where to look for the birds. He is an expert in answering your questions of the different variety of birds. I left the tour becoming more observant of the beautiful nature surroundings all around us and the sounds and sights of birds.

Ryan was professional and fun! He is enthusiastic about birding and shared a lot of interesting information with me. We also toured a few towns and a beautiful church . Very well planned tour and I’m guessing custom designed for me. Thanks Ryan!!

Ryan Dibala of Birding Man Adventures is the go-to guide to see birds in Colorado. He is extremely knowledgeable about birds and their habitats, and where to find target species. He also knows a lot about the ecology, plant life and history of Colorado. This was my second time birding with him, and we saw 62 species in one day (9 were lifers)!!! If you plan to bird in Colorado, I highly recommend you contact Ryan.

This tour is a MUST DO! Ryan is such an accommodating and salt of the earth kind of human. Leading up to the trip the temperature forecasted for our tour date was of concern so we reached out to Ryan to cancel our experience. Instead of canceling he suggested we switch gears a bit and head into the mountains- ensuring us we would have an amazing day… and he did not disappoint! We hiked out to an amazing vista with breathtaking views all around for a wonderful picnic, stopping to appreciate the abundance of wildlife the Rocky Mountains has to offer along the way. This is hands down the best guided tour our family has ever been on. Ryan’s personality, charisma and abundant kindness made it feel as though we were all family. Thank you Ryan! Hope to see you and your wife in NH some time soon!

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Ryan. We signed up for the Beak & Talon tour and would consider ourselves novice birders at best. Ryan customized our tour based on where we had/hadn't been before and was so accommodating, informative, and experienced throughout our tour. He helped us learn SO much in just the one adventure. We saw 4 bald eagles (3 juveniles), 4 golden eagles (2 fledglings still in their nest), and probably close to 15 red-tailed and swainson's hawks so you can certainly say the "Beak & Talon" tour lived up to it's reputation. Aside from getting us so close to such mesmerizing raptors, Ryan is such a fun and hospitable host, especially as he drove us from site to site. Usually the thought of spending the entire day in the car with a complete stranger would make us shy away from an experience like this, but Ryan was so genuine and interesting to speak with the time truly flew by. Any adventure with Ryan I would confidently say is an experience you wouldn't want to miss!

My girlfriend and I are both "bird people". We have a pet Pionus parrot and she has worked as an assistant for an avian vet in CA. We were visiting Denver for a few days as part of our vacation and we had two free afternoons to fill. I ran across a tour which immediately caught my eye – “Colorado's Birds of Prey Full-Day Private Watching”. This was perfect to fill one of our free days. We contacted Ryan and reserved our day. Ryan picked us up at our hotel early Tuesday morning. During our day, he took us to about 5 different wildlife reserves within about 25 miles or so of Denver. He knows all the good spots. He kept track of each type of bird we spotted. Our list included 51 different species by the end of the day. He posts the list to an online app (e-birds) that you can access if you like. You can take all the pics you want and he will share any that he takes with you later on. Ryan provides a couple of pair of binoculars. If you have 3 or 4 in your group, you may have to share some or bring 1 or 2 of your own. He also has a portable telescope that he brings along for distance viewing. Ryan really knows his stuff. He knew every species we came across by sight and knew most of them just by the sounds they made before we even spotted them. Although we did see many species of raptors (i.e. “birds of prey”), we spotted dozens of other species of birds. There was some hiking required, but it was all pretty easy. I would suggest wearing boots if you have them though as you might be walking through some wet areas. Our day ended really well as we got to view a Golden Eagle nest on a cliff and we lucky enough to see one of the parents bring a just killed prairie dog to the chick in their nest… pretty cool. Of the raptors, we got to see an Osprey, Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Swainson’s Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Great Horned Owl and Burrowing Owl. Plus, we got to see dozens of other bird species. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable about all birds and the local wildlife areas. He is also very friendly and easy to get along with. We enjoyed his company very much. We would not hesitate to spend the day with Ryan again. Joe & Mandee, Los Angeles, CA

Ryan was an absolute fantastic guide and host for our trip. We had the opportunity for him to give us a tour out on the grasslands and riparian areas around Lamar and Two Buttes State Wildlife area. His knowledge and passion for nature and conservation are evident. I learned quite a bit on the tour! Lastly, as a wildlife photographer, Ryan was able to get us in place for some fantastic pictures of birds and pronghorn. I highly recommend Birding Man Adventures!
