Very early in the morning we will pick you up at your hotel, and then transfer you to the train station in Ollantaytambo, after boarding your train you will be a witness and you will be able to appreciate all the scenic beauty that is on this route until you reach the town of Aguas Hot. We arrive at the Aguas Calientes station where our staff will help us board the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amidst a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu today is considered by many as the new spiritual center of the world, because of the energy, peace and tranquility that one can feel here. Your expert guide will accompany you through the most important sites. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will amaze us with its delicately carved architecture, terraces, ceremonial temples, stairways and urban areas. Energy is all around us, mystical wisdom supports Machu Picchu as the new spiritual center of the world. There will be time to be alone and fully embrace this magnificent wonder of the world, letting this once-in-a-lifetime experience become a satisfying and memorable one. After your visit you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes for a delicious lunch in the afternoon and later you will take the train from Aguas Calientes for the return trip to Cusco. NOTE: Your passport details are needed for the Machu Picchu excursion (name and passport ID).

Aguas Calientes

At the agreed time, we will take the train back to the city of Cusco. To meet various customer needs, you can choose from 4 different types of options. The Expedition option was created for adventurous passengers looking for comfort and security without the extra frills. The seats have been reupholstered with native fabrics. The Vistadome option is a comfortable way to travel to Machu Picchu. You will enjoy beautiful panoramic windows to make the most of the spectacular scenery and take fantastic pictures. The Business Class option with panoramic views and comfortable padded chairs and a folding table for your convenience. The Voyagen option is a classy service with very comfortable seats. Also with panoramic windows. These trains are leaving from the Ollantaytambo train station, located approximately 1.5 hours from Cusco and snacks are available for purchase on all trains. MANDATORY: The Machu Picchu authority requests: full name, passport number, date of birth and nationality, to issue the entry. There is no ticket reservation.
The entrance ticket to Machu Picchu is non-refundable and changes or date modifications are not accepted. If you need to change the date of your visit, you will need to purchase a new entrance ticket.
Due to high demand and limited access to the citadel, PERUADTOUR will issue your admission ticket to trails 1 or 2 with priority. If they are not available, route 3 or 4 will be provided, prior coordination with the passenger before its issuance. Supplement applies to Wayna Picchu mountain (trail 4) and Machu Picchu mountain (trail 3)
Admission ticket to Machu Picchu and train tickets are included in this tour. Our sales team will send them 72 hours after payment.
Shift entry by schedule from 6 am to 2 pm. Our shared tour considers 9 am, 10 am and 11 am shifts. If slots are not available, we will open a new shared tour at the next available time. Our staff will inform you for your acceptance.
Travelers must arrive in Cusco city at least one day before the day tour to Machu Picchu. The Machu Picchu authorities do not accept travel date modifications on the entry ticket.
One day before, the company's staff will contact travelers to send them the pick-up time through Viator or the Tripadvisor experiences extranet.
For climatic reasons, from January to March, all excursions depart in bimodal service (Bus from Cusco to Ollantaytambo and train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu.
The guided tour inside Machu Picchu lasts around 2h 30m following a marked path.
Machu Picchu has two stations. Rainy season from December to March. Dry season, the rest of the year.
What to bring: sunglasses, comfortable clothing and footwear, hat, repellent, sunscreen, water bottle, power bank, coat, small backpack, raincoat in the rainy season from December to March.
