Chefchaouen
Our expedition from Fez to Chefchaouen guarantees that you will have some time to remember and that you will be able to come back to Fez with many memories and stories to tell. We will start by picking you up at the hotel / riad, and then we will head to the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen or Chaouen; further called, the blue city; the inhabitants also call it “the wife of the north”. This vibrant, colorful, beautiful, distinctive and friendly city has a lot to offer to guests. This old city, as recent as the 15th century, and this extraordinary and haunting city can stay in your memory for years. When we arrive, we will begin with the medina; stroll through the narrow, colorful streets and alleyways of the old city and lose yourself between its walls and its blue doors. You may also fall in love with how locals beautify the walls of their homes with plants, creating an impressive and picturesque view. One of the biggest tourist attractions of this city is shopping. You will invariably find one thing at least that steals your attention from its traditional market. From natural cosmetic goods to traditional Moroccan carpets, if you are trying to find souvenirs, Chefchaouen can never disappoint you. You will find everything from native animal skin (Chefchaouen is best known), antique jewelry, antiques, paintings by Aboriginal artists and handcrafted antique items. We will also visit the city center, also usually called “Uta el-Hammam”; this bustling heart of the city is nothing less than attractive and offers an atmosphere that will leave you marveled. Apart from the various activities that fill the city, you can also find varied restaurants with a range of themes and very different atmospheres. There, you will be able to taste the simplest food and a good kind of traditional dishes. Moreover, to finish our trip (and before heading back to Fez), we will visit some natural landscapes, located on the other side of this blue pearl of a city, to enjoy the beautiful nature of the Rif Mountains. Water from “Rass El-Ma,” where recent mountain water penetrates into the city. Then comes the famous and charming waterfalls and rock pools. Finally, you would not want to miss the breathtaking and breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains.
