Loved having a small group, great sites, entry into the Washington Monument and inside info/education we wouldn’t have gotten on our own. Great experience!

My son and I did the Monuments tour yesterday with Annemarie as our guide, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! I believe we visited 7 monuments/memorials in all and my son (age 9) and I learned something new at each one! Annemarie was a wonderful guide and in addition to sharing little known facts and vignettes about each monument/memorial, she also engaged my son and the other kids on the tour well, took pictures and got us to our endpoint (the Washington Memorial) right on time!
I would highly recommend this tour if you’d like to learn lots of fun tidbits about not just the memorials but also about DC.

We got last minute tickets for a half day tour of Washington DC the day before the tour. Needless to say, I didn’t have high hopes about what we might be getting. Annemarie was an awesome tour guide! She was friendly, very knowledgeable and great at keeping a good pace for our group. I was pleasantly surprised that we had such a great tour guide. She was very good at interacting with each one of our small group, especially the kids. She knew many facts and dates and answered all the questions we threw at her during our tour. It didn’t feel like we were rushing from memorial to memorial, she kept us at a good pace and let us linger when we wanted to. She always offered to take pictures of our family with all of us in it, so no one would be left out taking the picture. By the way, we got some amazing pictures of the cherry blossoms, the Lincoln Memorial, the reflecting pool, MLK memorial and World War II memorial. Great experience, highly recommend!

Annemarie was an excellent guide! Very informative and engaging. She tried to find us as much shade as possible on a day of record heat. Annemarie shared many details and facts about all the places on our tour that we never would have known on our own. She made the tour very worthwhile. Highly recommend!!

Tony was a wealth of information. Very friendly and accommodating. Will return again to DC and ask for Tony to be our guide. Worth every penny.
