This experience was one of a kind. Don, our tour guide, is an essential factor to this tour as his passion and knowledge shines throughout the entire time. Don is extremely knowledgeable of Alaska as he provided an ample about of history and very important facts of Denali and the city of Nenana. This tour entailed of a scenic drive from Fairbanks to Nenana and to Denali National Park. Unfortunately we did not encounter any animals but the humor, amazing and enriched information of Alaska, snowshoeing and the scenic views of Denali park was more than enough. Don, thank you for an amazing tour! We highly recommend this tour and Don as your tour guide. Tips: If there is snow, wear snow boots! And check your email for check in. They do not message you through this app unfortunately.

Had a fantastic experience sight-seeing in Denali with our tour guide, John! At the start of our tour, we stopped by a cafe to grab lunch for later. We stopped by Nenana on the way to Denali, with John teaching us about some of the history of the town. During the two hour ride from Fairbanks to Denali National Park, we also learned from John about many different subjects, from specific tree species found in the boreal forests of Alaska to the origins of the name Mt. McKinley. When we arrived at the park, John was happy to help people get photos wherever and whenever they wanted. We went on a short snowshoeing walk in the park, getting nice views of Denali in the distance! Note: the roads deeper into the park are closed during the winter, but luckily the weather allowed for nice visibility. During the walk, John made sure to slow down the pace when the terrain was getting too difficult for the group -- especially those with prior injuries or other conditions. At the end of the walk, we had some nice hot drinks before the drive back. All in all, I had a bunch of fun! I'd highly recommend the tour, especially with the Northern Alaska Tour Company and John.

Hearing the history of the areas we were driving through and about the flora and fauna prior to getting to Denalii was great. I enjoyed the hike as well.

This trip was so much fun. It was very cold but the park was beautiful as well as the stops on the way. John was our guide and he was awesome! He has so much great information about anything you could think of about Alaska! We couldn’t see Denali because of the clouds but the other mountains you could see were still impressive.
