By the end of the trip we had a better understanding of the unique area in and around Nadi. The visit to the mud baths was a surprising and enjoyable first time experience.

This tour included a lot of interesting stops in one afternoon, we enjoyed them all: Hindu temple, produce market, Nadi town shopping, Fijian village, gardens and mud bath/hot springs. The tour staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. I would have rated the tour 5 stars except that our tour host obviously had cough& cold, in these post Covid times we would encourage operator to have staff stay at home when feeling unwell.

Great half-day tour to join for those like me who arrived in Fiji early in the morning and too early to check into the hotel. Rakesh and his wife were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and down to earth. Was able to visit multiple places before noon. Information about each location was given during the car ride and when we arrived, I explored the area at my own pace. I enjoy this type of tour, but it might not be for everyone. Contrary to other reviews about the stop at the gift shop (Jack's of Fiji, which turns out they have multiple locations), I didn't mind as I needed to buy souvenirs anyway and this stop gave me ideas. Besides, I wasn't pressured to buy anything, and left when I was ready.

The tour, starting at 1pm was rather overpriced for what was offered. The Hindu temple isn’t that impressive and there was no guide or information to explain its origin. The market we were taken at around 2.00 was small and closing. The orchid garden was nice but not special, especially compared to what can be seen in Singapore. We choose not to do the mud bad and so by 4pm. The driver wasn’t used to doing this tour. He provided a perfunctory service. Nadi itself is also not that interesting. Taking a public bus to visit Lautoka for $9/pp was a far more interesting experience. Lautoka is larger and more flourishing than Nadi.

It was enjoyable. I wish the guide would’ve given more of a history of Fiji and the town of Nadi. Otherwise, it was nice to get a glimpse of the town

My husband and I had a wonderful time! Our guide was so knowledgeable accommodating. He answered all of our questions. We learned so much about the country and culture. It was a private tour and we had the best time! We highly recommend booking!

We went on a tour with Rakesh and we had a wonderful time. He was so patient and kind, sharing stories and Fijian history with us. We had plenty of time at each location and we had a great time. Very glad to have done the tour. Thanks Rakesh!

Travelled to Fiji with young daughter, and wanted a safe option for a stress-free tour on the island. Our flight was delayed, and we missed the original pickup, however our airport taxi driver called Rakesh and coordinated a meet up point for us. Rakesh (the tour operator for this tour) is an absolute gentleman, and has a spotless vehicle and exceptionally polite manner. I wish that I had looked more carefully at the Viator page and contacted him directly before booking, as he can provide extra information and options. In addition, it would have been helpful to be able to text him that we were running behind! We felt safe and well taken care of, which is very important for female travelers, especially after an international flight. We met at the beautiful temple, where he helped us with the appropriate cultural customs and took photos for us to remember the moment. From there he took us to a curio store called Jacks of Fiji, so that we could look at handcrafts and find souvenirs (they take cards). We stopped at the fruit market. The other two passengers (lovely women) bought some pretty pineapples. We got freshly made roti and some drinks for $5fjd. There were some takeaway vendors if you wanted a larger meal or you could buy fruit from the market. From there we visited the Sleeping Giant orchid gardens. Slow down there and smell the flowers - each one has its own special scent. You are given a tasty cold drink after your garden walk. As we went through the countryside, Rakesh pointed out interesting features and history. The last stop was at the mud/hotsprings. It was very relaxing to float in the hot pools. I would absolutely do this tour again! If we pass by Fiji in the future, I'll be calling Rakesh ahead of time to get help with transport, trip ideas etc. He is your "Friend in Fiji" for sure. Thanks for a great day!

We really enjoyed this tour. It would have been nice to have more time at each place but we knew going in that there were a lot of places to see and that it was a half-day tour. As much as we enjoyed everything we did, the tour guide was more of a driver than a guide. That suited us fine but for people looking for more history and local anecdotes, this might not be for you. But if you want to see a lot of interesting places in a short time and do the mud baths, highly recommend. Great price too.
