Natural History Museum
After meeting your guide right outside the entrance to this fantastic museum and research centre, you will begin your journey into the heart of an exhibition which you will find is as entertaining as it is educational. Here you will learn all about the natural world in a museum which won first prize for Best Free Activities and Best for Learning categories at the 2018 Hoop Awards. There are around 70 million exhibits in total here, covering five main collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy, paleontology and zoology. The Dinosour Gallery is probably the section of the museum the kids will want to visit the most, and the main reason for that must be the star of the show, a Tyrannosaurus Rex which is between 122 and 129 million years old, one of the most significant prehistoric finds ever unearthed. But there will be no shortage of other attractions to keep the whole family enthralled, such as the Marine Reptile Fossils, the Jurassic sea crocodiles, an amazing 25.2-metre-long blue whale skeleton, a giant sequoia tree and a wonderful range of stuffed birds. The know-how, skill and sheer enthusiasm of your highly-qualified kid-friendly guide will make sure you finish this tour with a lot of new knowledge and having had a wonderful time aquiring it. The Natural History Museum tour is sure to be an experience you won't forget in a hurry.
