Your Itinerary

Union Station

Union Station, a classic art deco landmark where many movies and documentaries have been shot.

Calle Olvera

We'll stroll two blocks to the birthplace of LA, the vivid Olvera Street, with the oldest standing house and a bronze plaque with the names of the city's 44 founders, including the statue of Felipe de Neve, the Spanish Conquistador that named the city “El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles".

City Hall

We'll pass the City Hall, once the tallest building in Los Angeles before the construction of skyscrapers, and the center Los Angeles' famous political activism

The Music Center

We will continue up to the Music Center which includes three world class theatres: The LA Opera, Mark Taper and Ahmanson. Then we will cross the street and stop at the Disney Concert Hall, the masterpieces of architect Frank Geary.

Walt Disney Concert Hall

Walt Disney Concert Hall is home to the LA Phil – one of the world's preeminent orchestras – and an unrivalled venue for classical music, contemporary music, world music and jazz. It is one of the best masterpiece of the Architect Frank Geary.

The Broad

The Broad, newest Art Museum in LA. It houses a nearly 2,000-piece collection of contemporary art featuring 200 artists, including works by Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons, Ed Ruscha, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, including a 1963 "Single Elvis" by the latter.

The Museum of Contemporary Art

Founded in 1979, MOCA is the only museum in Los Angeles devoted exclusively to contemporary art. It is committed to the collection, presentation, and interpretation of work produced since 1940 in all media, and to preserving that work for future generations. In a remarkably short time, MOCA has developed one of the nation's most renowned permanent collections. Now numbering over 6,800 works and steadily growing, this invaluable cultural resource provides extensive opportunities for education and enjoyment to thousands of national and international visitors. Today the museum is housed in three unique facilities: MOCA Grand Avenue, The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, and MOCA Pacific Design Center.

Angels Flight Railway

The 118-year-old funicular takes passengers on a short ride between Hill Street and Grand Avenue on Bunker Hill. Originally opened in 1901, Angels Flight® — the world’s shortest railway — has given more than 100 million rides on its hillside track.

Bradbury Building

The Bradbury Building is the oldest commercial building remaining in the central city and one of Los Angeles’ unique treasures. Behind its modest, mildly Romanesque exterior lies a magical light-filled Victorian court that rises almost fifty feet with open cage elevators, marble stairs, and ornate iron railings. The identity of the building’s final architect is a subject of debate. Lewis Bradbury, a mining and real estate millionaire, commissioned Sumner Hunt to create a spectacular office building. Hunt turned in completed designs but was replaced soon after by George H. Wyman, who supervised construction. (If possible we may go inside)

Grand Central Market

The vibrant LA Central Market, an emporium of food vendors and flower-sellers, a downtown landmark since 1917, brings together the cuisines and cultures of Los Angeles through terrific vendors and events. For a century, Grand Central Market has played home to butchers, fishmongers, spice sellers, and standalone miniature restaurants, each with their own unique history. A push to modernize the market around 2012 brought newcomers such as Sticky Rice, Eggslut, and Texas barbecue mavens Horse Thief.
