Our family had such an amazing time on the Grateful Red for a sunset tour. Captain Bryan was so friendly and professional. His knowledge of the lake and surrounding areas were so helpful with our plans! He made us feel so comfortable on his beautiful boat! We truly enjoyed every minute of the tour. We highly recommend Captain Bryan and The Grateful Red!

If you visit Lake Tahoe in the summer, you must get out on the lake itself! Captain Bryan was a fantastic host and got us safely around the southern part of the lake. The views are amazing and the water is crystal clear. We visited in July and the water is still pretty chilly, but not intolerable for a short swim! This charter did not require us to purchase the gas and was still $25 less expensive than other tours. Well worth the money to have someone else drive us around and also educate us on what we were seeing.

My wife and I booked a sunset boat cruise with Captain Bryan. His communication was flawless - reached out in advance to confirm, answer any questions, etc. - and then reached out again the day of the cruise. He made some great suggestions about the timing of the cruise, and which locations to visit. At each stop along the way, he shared great information, and was very sincere and genuine. He even helped us take some photos! Absolutely rate the trip a 10/10 - must do if you're in the area!

The boat ride is the best memory we had in Lake Tahoe till date. Bryan was prompt and was in touch with us via text messages. He kept everything simple and easy. The boat captain, Tim was just amazing. He kept all of us entertained through-out the boat ride. My kid loved him and wants to go back on the boat again. Everyone in the family strongly recommend this memorable boat ride.

Tim was a fun and knowledgeable captain, who taught us about history and wildlife. The lake experience at sunset was beautiful. Fast boat, beautiful sights, great music and great company! Highly recommend!

This was a family celebration. Worth every penny. Bryan is a great caption and full of interesting Tahoe stories.

Absolutely lovely! Our captain was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. Even with the smoke, he was great at finding beautiful spots and giving a little history of the area without being overbearing. Our pictures of the sunset turned out pretty wild because of the smoke, and he was also willing to turn the boat around to help us get a better shot of something. His boat is well maintained and you can see how much care he puts into making it a good experience. Bottom line: book and enjoy the ride.

This charter was very unprofessional. We booked this boat far in advance just for the company to call and tell us that they double booked our trip and asked us to move the time slot.We willingly moved the trip to a later time. The night before the trip, they called again saying that there was another double booking issue and barely offered to accommodate us about their mistake. The day of the trip, they sent a text telling our family that they cancelled our trip and gave our booking to another family. This was very disappointing and unprofessional of them, especially since we booked our whole trip to Tahoe around this boat charter. I do not recommend booking with them, as they are very unorganized and unprofessional. To make matter worst, they said it would take a week to receive a refund and offered no apology for the inconvenience. If felt like since demand is up, customer service was not a priority.

Great experience !! Boat, captain, refreshments & local history were top shelf ! We would recommend the sunset cruise with wine and cheese to anyone who wants a bit more privacy
