Pena Palace was amazing even though it was foggy and raining. Sintra was lovely, we were lucky the sun was shining. Our guide Susanna was very knowledgeable and accommodating and made the tour a great day out

Our guide, Paulo, was the best! He was able to answer all our questions - not just about the sites we visited but also about the history and culture of Portugal. We visited Sentra, Cascais and the Quinta de Regaleira. Paulo made each visit seamless as well as advising the best way to get the most out of each experience. At the end of the day, he took the time to show us the best way to see the sites on our wish list for the next day. The three sites we visited were well worth the visit.

Nuno was a fantastic guide that really created a special day for our family. Sintra is such a gorgeous place. The views, WOW, you have to see them to believe them. Would definitely recommend doing a day trip to Sintra. My daughter felt like she was in a fairytale.

What a magical day!!! Thank you, Miguel, for treating us to an experience we will never forget! When we mentioned that we had already been to Cascais and Cabo de Roca, Miquel was flexible and adjusted our schedule to include more time in Sintra. We briefly saw the Palácio Nacional de Queluz, and the National Palace before walking to Quinta da Regaleira where we climbed down the initiation well and caves of the knights templar, and then walked the absolutely stunning gardens and inside the manor. We enjoyed walking through town, visiting with a local master artist, a great lunch, and delicious Travesseiros and Queijadas from Piriquita cafe (thank you, Miguel!). We then explored the Moorish castle with stunning views, and then finally beautiful Pena Palace with even more stunning views and architecture! Miguel’s extensive knowledge of the area and history, and his friendly demeanor, made this day even more special for my husband and 2 teenage daughters :)

I spent a whole day in Sintra with Miguel, stopping at Cabo da Roca on the way back to my hotel. We visited Pena Palace and Park, Quinta de Regaleira, the Park and Palace of Monserrate, and the center of Sintra. Highly interesting and beautiful. Miguel was a treasure trove of information and a great conversationalist.

Miguel was the sweetest man. We had such good conversation and he was very informative about history/sights. I will cherish my time here because of his service!

Ines was the best!!! We are a family of 4 with 2 kids. Ines was very knowledgable and informative. We learned a lot from her. The time at Sintra was enough to see everything. Cascais was also beautiful. Will do again the next time we are in Lisbon. Thank you!

Sintra, with its microclimate, has a unique variety of vegetation. Often immersed in the clouds, my wife needed a sweater, which she was happy to buy at one of the many shops. Miguel, our guide, did a great job. The very colorful Pena Palace, converted from a monastery, is really not much of a sight. The presidential palace was far superior. The private residence, Quinta da Reveleira, was very worthwhile. The grounds and the wells must have taken a thousand man-years to construct.

Can’t say enough about how great this private day tour to Sintra was with Sandros. Sandros was at our hotel ahead of schedule ready to take us on our adventure. He asked if we had any evening plans he should be aware of to ensure we were back on time. We told him we did not and Sandros gave us our money’s worth! He was so passionate to share history and information about his homeland that we did not return to our hotel till almost 8pm. He was knowledgeable and so kind. Sandros even purchased local pastries and had them waiting for us when we returned to the car after our first stop. A truly lovely man. A lovely tour. And a lovely day in Lisbon, Sintra, and the surrounding area. Can’t recommend this tour and Sandros enough.

Medhi was early to our AirBNB but happy to wait for us. He communicated clearly the night before to set expectations. He gave us a great history of Portugal and Sintra on the drive and was very accommodating. At Pena and Ragaleira he knew all the shortcuts which made traveling with a 3 year old a delight.
