This was a wonderful tour! Definitely take it while in Lisbon. There's so much beautiful street art and having context for it all and learning to recogninze and appreciate it made the city wandering so memorable. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and we got to meet a few of the artists and see them work! The murals in Lisbon range from small and hidden all the way to giant walls on multistory buildings, and everything in between. It was a bit longer than 3 hours, so take good shoes, water, and a sunhat...but you're welcome to stop for a bit if needed. Such a unique way to see a different side of a wonderful city.

Our street art tour was an excellent way to learn about Lisbon with a deeper look at the culture and several of the neighborhoods. Our guide is an accomplished street artist and shared many perspectives about the various artistic methods and communication vehicles that street artists employ. We got to see the city from many different angles both physically as we did a lot of walking but also figuratively through the eyes of street artists. Our guide was thoughtful and engaging, making the whole experience wonderful.

Absolutely fantastic, by far the most insightful, thorough and detailed tour. The tour guide was so knowledgable with insider information and additional snippets of knowledge that made the tour even better. The tour was intimate, well tailored and interactive where we could ask questions, unpick some of the art, it was fantastic from my 14 year old son, to my husband and myself. We loved it and it flew by. Honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Joao was Amazing! He had in-depth knowledge of street art as an artist himself and as a student of the field. We learned so much, not only about the politics and aesthetics abut also about how the art reflects the communities in which it occurs and how the art is intended to create conversation and connection. Absolutely, 100% recommend. It informed not only our Lisbon experience but also gave us insight into our own community. Do It!
