The day before the tour, you will receive the exact pickup details regarding pickup, meeting point and time;
Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant's age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
This tour has two different options, with or without hotel pick up. If you choose the option with the meeting point this tour may or may not be done in a minibus or bus. If you choose the Small Group with hotel pick up option, this tour will be done on a minivan and a group of up to 8 people;
For the ones that choose hotel pick-up, if your accomodation is not in a very easy to reach location, we might ask you to meet us at a close by location;
Private option it's done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The vineyards and rest of the locations are shared with other participants.
For lunch we provide meet, fish, vegan and vegetarian option.
We do tours all year round, in the winter it is cold and in the summer it's hot, please dress appropriately
There is not much walking involved, but please bring comfortable shoes;
Don´t forget to bring your camera with you!
This tour last around 9 hours, but it´s subject to local traffic conditions or visit schedules;
Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability);

If you are staying in Porto for a few days, this is a must trip at the beginning of your stay. The knowledge you learn from this excursion will enhance your time in Porto. The scenery was amazing, the wine was great, and the lunch was fantastic. Our guides were fun and friendly. Everything was just great!

Great tour! Good mix of vineyards and views and boat. The best part was the smaller vineyards. Lunch at the first vineyard was really good and amazing views. Rita was a lovely guide and our bus driver navigated those mountain roads with precision! Would have been nice to have Rita with us on the boat to give more history and info but she answered all questions after so it was all good. Brought our 14 and 16 year olds and they liked it too. We saw trips with a third vineyard option and that would have been too much listening to info about Port for them! Perfect mix.

We had the best time on our tour with Rita as our guide. She was extremely personable and very funny! The views on the bus ride were fantastic throughout the tour and we really loved both vineyards that we visited. We had a lovely lunch, a 3 course meal with wine, at the first vineyard and it was vegetarian friendly which was a plus! The river cruise was also excellent with fantastic views of Douro Valley. Would absolutely recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Rita made our day very enjoyable! Great personality, full of smiles, and friendly. We had a fantastic tour and tasting that included a very delicious lunch overlooking vineyards, followed by breathtaking Douro River cruise, followed by an intimate vineyard with another delicious tasting. Perfect day!

This was honestly the best day. The tour guides are amazing, so nice and funny. The hosts at the vineyards are really happy to have us and gave a lot of information. We has lunch at the first place and it was so good. You also drink a lot, not to much but the perfect amount. You can ask for more sometimes.

This was a lot of fun. Small group tour is definitely the way to go. We had 6 people and everyone became rather chatty after the first wine tasting stop. Vitor was a terrific guide with a good sense of humor. He sat with the group at lunch and was able to give us suggestions on places to see and what to eat while in Porto. We had some good wine and port. The only reason this is not five stars is that the air conditioning in the van wasn’t working. It got hot, especially in the back. Still, it was a good tour and a good time with a really good driver/guide.

A simply awesome trip - our guide was funny and helpful, and the trip to the 2 vineyards and river cruise were excellent. Lunch was nice too which gave you a good taste of some traditional Portuguese food. There were also plenty of port and wine throughout the tours too. I travelled with my elderly parents and it worked well for them. We were also blessed with some great weather too. If you have a day free in Porto - it is worth going and given the amount of itinerary included I'd say it is worth the money

The tour is worth the outstanding views and break from the city. The tastings were good, but the host from the winery did not lead the group in the tasting as far as what to smell/taste. The history of the winery/wine was ok, but a little unorganized. Lunch was delicious and the service was good. The river cruise part was fun, but it was odd to cruise down the river, then turn around. It seemed as if we would cruise to another spot where the bus would meet us. I think it would be nice to include another tasting or drink on the boat vs. the drinks for purchase. The last winery was gorgeous, but again, the tasting and information was not very organized and most of the group was socializing instead of listening. It was a great way to get easily get away from the city for the day, but I think a wine tour in the city would be just as informative.
