The scenery was amazing, and the guide, Stephanie, was extraordinarily knowledgeable, and charming. A bonus was she extended the trip to take us to tangled lakes, with sights at least as good as anything we had seen before, and with a lovely lunch at tangled Lakes Lodge before returning. Her knowledge of and enthusiasm for Alaska enriched the whole experienced.

We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our driver Kathy was fantastic, providing an informative commentary about the places we visited as well as about life in Alaska. We had regular breaks as it is long day (but worth it), lunch at a fantastic brewery, plus photo stops at a few other places along the way. Summit lake was beautiful. Added bonus -we got to see and photo several moose along the way.

We had a great trip from our hotel in Fairbanks and driving SE to the Denali highway. We went up past a few lakes up the Denali Highway where we had lunch. Our guide Steph had many experiences to share about her family camping trips and living in the area. We were given options on what to see and do with explanations and which made the trip personal to us. The mountains and lakes along the drive provided breathtaking scenery for some great photos. We stopped at a small Alaska Lodge called Tangle Lakes Lodge on the Denali Highway for a quick lunch. The cheeseburger's we had were very good and fast. Very friendly staff. Steph was great about spotting wildlife and knowing where to stop for the best photos. We saw 2 Moose and a Marmot. I wished I had brought a telephoto lens with me. We had just came from visiting Denali and the Canadian Rockies so I wanted to see some the Alaskan interior and this tour did not disappoint. I liked seeing the pipeline and military airfield on the trip also. I would love to come back in the fall to see the color change.

Boring 100 mi drive thru dense brush, trees and fauna. Flatlands. No remarkable landmarks along the way. North Pole is a stinking joke. All to see Denali way, way in the distance.

Great tour. Clark was a wealth of information and gave us an Alaskan history lesson! The stops were a nice break and we were lucky enough to see a moose!
