NOT WORTH THE MONEY Booked the Food and Wine Tour with visit of Travestere/Jewish Ghetto. We paid 100€ per person and were disappointed. When I book a Food and Wine Tour in Italy for 100€ per person (!!!) I expect more. The food we had was around 20€ per person, so l wonder what happened with the other 80€... We ate a piece of pizza, some sort of fried rice ball, a small plate of pasta with some house wine (2.5 dl white wine, 2.5 dl red wine for both) and ice cream. It was not satisfactory. For that price I would have wanted some fresh fish, meat, fresh cooked food and better wine. If you do a Food and Wine Tour I want the food and the wine to be good, otherwise I can walk around on my own and get ripped off on my account. Our tour guide Gianluca was really nice and gave us information about the city parts. All in all we had a nice experience but the price is completely off the charts concerning the low quality of the food. Wouldn't recommend, only if they lower the prices.

Our tour guide Eleonora was awesome! She does historic tours as well as the food tours so she was a wealth of knowledge. The food was delicious and the locations were chosen carefully and even changed recently before our arrival to make sure the items were top notch! Such a great way to learn about the area while getting to try the local food.

Anastasia was an amazing guide with the experience of a Roman and a wonderful fun personality. A word to the wise: start the tour hungry. We made 5 stops for appetizers, pizza and beer, pasta and wine and even gelato at the end. All the while we learned about Rome even seeing where our guide was born! As the sun set we wandered through the streets enjoying unique and special photo ops. Highly recommend this tour!

Disappointing tour. The guide was good. The places that were covered for the food could have been much better.

I highly recommend this tour! Gianluca, our guide was wonderful, warm, informative and introduced us to delicious, typical Roman food, off the beaten tourist path. History of the Jewish Roman community, there since several hundred years BC and their distinctive cuisine was particularly fascinating (and delicious!).
