Palmela

The village of Palmela is especially famous for its wine and has a magnificent castle that stands on top of a hill offering magnificent views of the Capuchin Convent. We stop in the small town of Azeitão during his trip to the Capuchin Convent (the EN249 road) and savor some of the most delicious sweet wines and muscat district. Most local producers has its own cellars and shops that are open to the public.

Parque Natural da Arrabida

A large natural park, which is located in and around a hill almost 500 meters. The interesting thing about this place is its vegetation, thanks to the peculiar geography of the place, a microclimate here formed which makes it ideal for the Mediterranean, as vegetation growth, contrary to what happens elsewhere in the region.
