This was a wonderful cruise. It rained all day, but that did not take away from the majestic beauty of nature. We saw orcas and Dall's porpoises following the boat, a humpback whale and baby whale, and a grey whale which is not as common. There were puffins, otters, seals and the views were spectacular of the glaciers. We went up close to a waterfall and could see and hear the snow avalanching in a rumble. Lunch was served and it was a pretty good sandwich. The margaritas made with glacier ice were just okay, too sweet for us, but an experience to talk about later. The water was very choppy at times, you have to hold on to the railing or go inside, but we never got seasick. The captain and crew were the best! They were all about safety first. They put a microphone in the water and we were able to hear the whales communicating with each other. It was pretty cool!

We saw a lot, despite a bit dismal weather. We saw orcas, we saw otters, humpback whales bubble net feeding, seals, sealions, puffins, porposies, bald eagles, glaciers... but I was rather disappointed because I missed some sights due to the positioning of the boat. The captain positioned the boat most of the time so that you had to be on the bow of the boat to see the sights, and unfortunately we didn't all fit on the bow of the boat. There were always some people (often me, unfortunately), who were left behind on the steps and not able to look out to whatever we were supposed to see. This happened several times throughout the day, throughout our 8.5hr tour. Even after I told the captain about the issue. Other boat tours I was on in Alaska positioned the boat so that everyone could go to one side of the boat and see, this would've been better.

This tour was amazing. We were able to see so many animals even on a not great weather day. The staff was very helpful and informative. The ability to move in and out of the cabin with the cold rain was fairly efficient for the larger number on the boat. We were able to see a fin whale. This cruise does go out into the bay of Alaska and can get rough at times

Glacier view from the ship was awesome ... Even though it was raining for a majority part of the tour, the staff /crew was extremely caring and made us all comfortable and at ease ... The crew was professional ... The crew took the ship very close to the waterfall from the glaciers and we ended up standing Below the water falls ... That experience was breathtaking

We had planned this trip a few weeks before and the weather turned out to be very rainy and windy. The crew warned us that it was going to be a little rougher than normal. In spite of the conditions the crew did a fabulous job of making the experience memorable. They modified the route to minimize exposure to rough water and maximize our ability to see wildlife and the beautiful land. Highlight was that on our way back we saw a pod of orcas! Terrific experience and crew.

The intense excitement of Scott, Evelyn., and our captain when they spotted Matuska the killer whale made all of us aware that something special was happening. This was the best experience that I can remember. Thanks again.

What a great day! We saw whales, sea otters , stellar sea lions and lots of puffins among other things. The views of the northwestern glacier were breathe taking. Would definitely go again.

Wildlife and beauty beyond description: whales, porpoise, seals, glacier experience. Great boat and crew.

This was one of the best excursions I took during my two-week Alaskan cruise. We saw so many glaciers and the most incredible scenery during our 8.5 hour trip. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Lunch was great! The pictures (see attached) will say more than I could ever put in words. If you've got a whole day to spend in Seward, do NOT miss the chance to take this excursion!

Debated whether to go on a shorter cruise but was very glad we did the all day. We saw orcas, fin whales, otters, sea lions, porpoises, and a vast array of birds. The ship could get very close to the islands. The captain and crew were helpful and informative but not too chatty. We went into a cove for lunch. We went close to Northwestern glacier and the engines were turned off so we could hear the ice cracking.
