Overall, this was an amazing experience and a great way to see what felt like the entire island. I was picked up at my hotel in a 4x4 and we began our trip heading north of Funchal. We stayed along the western coast for the first part of the morning and then headed into the mountains in the center of the island. Here we saw the magical enchanted forest, a great spot was to take pictures. We then headed down the mountain back toward the coast and made several stops in small villages. At each stop, we found a breathtaking view, and great picture taking opportunities. In one of the towns, we stopped for lunch at a great restaurant on the ocean. We then worked our way around the northern tip of the island. We stopped at the famous black sands beach and had a swim in the ocean. Our tour guide was a very nice man and clearly had spent his whole life on the island. He was full of knowledge about the island, the best spots to visit, recommendations for what else to do on our vacation and where the best restaurants in Funchal are. It was a great experience that everyone should have while they visit Madeira. This is the best way to see many of the most beautiful spots on the island, both the touristy ones and the hidden ones.

Phenomenal tour of the West of the island! Great company and driving, on the road and off. Bruno, our driver and guide was fantastic, local, hugely knowledgeable and entertaining. Best day in many years, just the huge wild fires are so concerning, hopefully they will be under control soon. Thank you Bruno and Green Devils.

A wonderful trip with our guide Bruno to crowded and not-so-crowded-at-all beautiful places on Madeira. Bruno’s knowledge about the places and the fauna of the island make this tour an entertaining composition of trivia and facts. The off-road elements were really great fun and Bruno’s driving felt safe for us all the time. The swimming spots and the stop for lunch / snacks were also really good. We as a whole family (kids 8 and 11) would highly recommend going on that trip.

This was an incredible jeep tour of the west coast of Madeira! Our guide Joel (apologies is I butchered the spelling) was super informative and you could tell he loved where he was from! The sights were unbelievable. The whole experience was perfect. Well worth the money. Thank you to the whole team but especially our guide.

Had an amazing time with Diogo ! Our first time in Madeira with a knowledgeable driver who knew his customers well and made the experience UNFORGETTABLE !! worth every minute !! Such a fun experience !

Best Way to see the different places of the beautiful island! Many of the things we got to do and see would not be possible without our fantastic driver and guide Lino! Highly recommend it ☺️

This is a must if you are in Madeira and want a great day filled with amazing sights, tastes, volcanic pools, and some crazy- but expert- driving! You can’t go wrong with this tour/company. We had Miguel as our guide and he was wonderful! We saw and did so much, ending our day near Sao Vincente for some delicious poncha. Picked us up and dropped us off right from our hotel- so convenient! Highly recommend this tour, guide, and company.

Donna N

Incredible!! Lino shared so much knowlege of his home land, agriculture, history, beauty, and so much fun. The adventure this morning off roading was crazy! Our stop for a beautiful lunch in Porto Meniz delish. Then swimming in the volcanic pools❤️ Thank You so much for making our dream come true Lino!!!

Miguel from Green Devil Tours gave me one of the best days I had during my trip to Madeira. Although I had seen a fair bit of the island on my own, this tour took me to some unforgettable places and lookouts that I would not have seen otherwise. He also threw in a few extra stops that weren't planned. This tours is an excellent combination of offroad 4x4, seaside views, and mountain vistas. I recommend this trip to anyone who wants to take their hands off the steering wheel for a day, relax, and enjoy the best of Madeira from a friendly, funny guide—with driving skills you can trust.

Wow, that was amazing! The exact words my partner said when we finished our day with Green Devil Safari. I have to say our driver Elias was brilliant and a fountain of local knowledge. From pick up to drop off, nothing was too much trouble and he gave us some memorable off road driving and plenty of time at stop off points. The highlight for me was the stop at Pico do Arieiro. I suffer with heights but managed this through the tour. We would definitely recommend this activity to others.
