According to the intention of the designers, the building reflects the musical order and construction of the instrument whose physical structure becomes filled with life and sounds.

Bazylika Archikatedralna pw. sw. Jakuba Apostola

A stunning building, rebuilt post-war after the German city of Stettin was heavily bombed in 1944. The interior is incredibly lofty and so large that an ordinary camera simply can't catch its immensity.

The Pomeranian Dukes' Castle

This is a nice jewel in the Old City in Szczecin. It is a nice "time-travel" to cross the busy motorway and pop up in an ancient era.

Stare Miasto

This is a tiny town square but very adorable, with great architecture, colorful scenery, and nice restaurants.

Bulwar Piastowski

A very nice place to walk around. It is very quiet and peaceful. Great to walk during the sunset, for example.

This sculpture is masterfully made. The details are lifelike but also a bit surreal.

Church of St. John the Baptist

The pride of Szczecin. Very stunning and beautiful church built in Romanian style of architecture. The first one in Szczecin.

Brama Wodna (Water gate)

Really wonderful design and brick work on this church.

Town Hall new

Huge, lately renovated building of town hall and made all in red colours. Definitely worth to see.

Jasne Blonia Square

It is very peaceful, very large area with lush green grass and well kept pathways. This unique park also hides fantastic green building of local goverment and monument of John Paul II. Possible to see for request.

Plac Tobrucki

(Pass by)

The monument here is a nice bronze monument with an anchor.

WieĹĽa Quistorpa

This tower used to be a place where people could admire a beautiful panorama of Szczecin or enjoy time in a restaurant, but after the German bombardment, it's ruined. But in an emotional way, a nice atmosphere has always remained.

Small square with narrow and colourful buildings. You will find here some nice restaurants and patisseries.
