Your Itinerary

Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute

(Pass by)

The dome of the Basilica della Salute has characterized the scenario of St Mark's basin in Venice for more than three hundred years, an authoritative testimony of the high spirituality that marked the 17th century in Venice. It was wanted by the Serenissima as a prayer and as thanksgiving to the Virgin Mother of God to preserve the city of Venice from the terrible plague of the 17th century.

Teatro La Fenice

(Pass by)

Teatro la Fenice: a name, a story. As the phoenix rises from its ashes, so it was for this fantastic theatre risen twice from the flames and water. It has been and is home to numerous premieres of operas by Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, Stravinsky, and many others.

There was no experience!! It was rainong really bad, tried with no succes to contact the operator. Then called Viator and they me to be at the meeting point, the Góndolas were "still going" Got there and were told to wait about an hour for the rain to stop, but there was no were to "wait" the expectation was for us to wait under the rain, asked for a refund, but it was denied... next time I will not prepay!

My husband & I were on vacation to Venice to celebrate our #55 anniversary and were determined to make sure we got in a private gondola ride on this trip. We have been to Venice several other times but with a group and on those gondola rides, we were always with 2 other couples and never got to sit in the nice chairs that are provided just for a couple. Well, on our anniversary we did get to have our 1st gondola ride and our gondolier was soooo funny and made the ride so memorable. We went up & down several canals, under bridges & walkways and even out to the Grand Canal and saw the Rialto Bridge. Several days later, we were also determined to make sure we got another gondola ride in before we left Venice. This was a great ride also, seeing the Grand Canal with the beautiful buildings along the water, seeing water taxis going by and we were so glad we took another ride. Our gondolier was very pleasant and pointed out numerous historical sites along the way. This was truly so much fun and FINALLY glad we got our own private rides...priceless!

After lunch we took the iconic Gondola ride, covering some main canals and the more quiet ‘back street’ canals. This provided a much different perspective to the various bridges; houses etc. A “must do” when in Venice.

Ended up cancelled. Didn’t find the location in time because it was not clearly marked and hidden on one side of a cart shop, mistaked a different tour for it as they both are in the same space.

5 + people per gondola. Definitely need to be there 10-15 minutes in advance. Nice way to see Venice

Definitely not recommended. Not friendly and not even 15 minutes. It was not worth it at all. This was at the Rialto bridge.

It was very short and it’s worth the money that we paid. It was even less than 30 min. Which was promise.

The gondola ride was amazing. It was hard to find the meeting point since there are a lot of gondola rides meeting points

Gondola ride was published for 30 Minutes. The tour was 19 minutes. Requested partial refund and no response from Operatir.

We went for a gondola ride while in Venice. It was a unique experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We left the dock and were taken through some of the smaller passageways of the canal system. Our gondolier was fun and happy, singing and whistling all the while. He cheerfully posed for a picture as we were being propelled along.
