Fun experience out on the Tamar River. Hobie kayaks so easy to use - just pedal and steer with knobs. Guide Aran explained usage and helped you in and out. Was a spot to stash a small bag. Could take heaps of photos. Kayaked from pontoon up to the Kings Wharf, then down to South Esk under Kings Bridge into Cataract Gorge. So amazing just drifting along in the sunshine and admiring the dolerite cliffs. We had the 90mins ++ on the water. Perfect day for it too, on my last day visiting Launceston.

Great way to see Launceston from a different perspective. The guide was knowledgeable and the various areas we visited were all a little different.

Wow, what an amazing way to start the day in Launceston. We booked the 7am tour with Aran who was an amazing tour guide. It was fantastic to float along the river and up into the Cataract Gorge. So very happy we did this tour and we will definitely be doing again the next time we are in Launceston.

Aran was really accommodating for our group. The hobie kayaks are really easy to operate and hands free for taking photos! We had a spectacular day weather wise which added to the enjoyment. It was a really pleasant way to view the sights along the riverfront and into the gorge.

Who know pedal kayaking was such fun & so easy! A great little tour of the Tamar & Cataract Gorge seeing Launnie from the water. Our guide, Aran, is very professional and effortlessly guided us to all the best sites. Do not hesitate to do this tour, it’s truly excellent.

What an amazing experience. Couldn't believe how easy it was to control the kayak and it wasn't overly physical either. I could easily take video of the scenery and floating up through the gorge was absolutely magical. It felt surreal to be able to glide through the water in such a unique place. Our guide made the whole experience wonderful and was very knowledgeable about the history of the many landmarks we passed. I would do this tour every week if I could. I think people of all ages would love it

Great way to start the day with a kayak on the river. Was a fantastic way to experience Cataract Gorge. Shared the river with some gulls, swans, ducks, a heron and a fur seal. Would recommend and no prior experience needed.

This was a fabulous experience especially on the peddle operated kayaks which were incredibly comfortable and easy to use. We took the 9.30 time slot, the weather was perfect and the scenery especially heading under the Kings Bridge. We chose the double kayak as a couple and found this a better option than one each as we could rest individually or both peddle. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable of the area as well as being very safety conscious, life vests were provided along with sunblock if needed. We were able to store our bags safely at the pontoon, along with anything we didn’t want to take. Highly recommend taking a hat and water bottle along with you and definitely put in some sunblock. The peddle hobie kayaks were sooooo easy compared to having to paddle 100% recommend this tour
