The Kasbah Museum recomposes the major aspects of the material culture of the city of Tangier and its region. It illustrates the dominant features of this region which played a privileged role in relations between Africa and Europe, since it would have functioned as a place of passage between the two continents via the Strait of Gibraltar, and a place of meeting and exchange in the western basin of the Mediterranean

The Mosh Nahon Synagogue in Tangier (Morocco) Built in 1876 and renovated in 1994 has become today a jewish museum. There were not enough jewish men left to make the miniane. In 1956 there were 17 synagogues in tangier with 17,000 participants.

The once bustling marketplace called the Grand Socco, is located in the middle of Tangier. Not so long ago it was filled with traders and buyers, snake charmers, musicians and creative storytellers looking for interested listeners. It is still busy, noisy and congested, but has now become a meeting point and a good central point for travelers who want to explore the city.

It is the main gateway to the south of the medina, linking the old city with the new one. It opens onto the Plaza del Gran Socco, known as the Plaza del 9 de Abril. The gate gives access to the souk, which is separated from the square by a wall whose limestone blocks are arranged in a typically Roman structure. Therefore, it is assumed that this access point to the city is very old. Bab Fahs, which means "inland" in Arabic, was the gateway to the interior and the surrounding countryside.

Tangier is steeped in memory. The visit of the late Mohammed V in 1947 is one of the most significant events in the contemporary history of the Tingitane peninsula. It was April 10, 1947. Sultan Mohammed Ben Youssef, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, delivered his historic speech that day in which he claimed, for the first time, the independence of the country from the hands of French authorities and its territorial integrity.

The Tangier American Legation Museum is a building in the medina of Tangier, Morocco. It is the first American public property outside of the United States, commemorating the cultural and historical diplomatic relations between the United States and the Kingdom of Morocco. Now officially called the Tangier American Legation Institute for Moroccan Studies, it is a cultural center, museum, and research library, concentrating on Arabic language studies.

The walls of Tangier have thirteen access gates and seven defense batteries. It is a square bastion, polygonal and semicircular towers, the occasional watchtower and a path to make the round.

From here, the view of the sea is unparalleled. Bab Bahr means “gateway to the sea”. It is one of the most famous gates of Tangier which makes the link between the walls of the medina and the port of the city. Located a stone's throw from the stairs leading to the American Legation, formerly the United States Consulate in Morocco, the gate was built by the Portuguese between the 14th and 17th centuries. It overlooks the old tanneries, donated to the city by Pasha Alil in the 17th century, of which only ruins remain today.

During our visit to the Old City, we will wander for more than two hours through its ancient alleys. We will stop at the oldest mosques there, as well as Christian churches and Jewish shops. The tour will also include a visit to the vegetable and fish market, traditional craft shops, and spice shops. As for lunch, it can be eaten in the Old City.
