Half-day walking tour by the banks of the River Thames in a small group

We had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon learning about the history of Canary Wharf and the Limehouse area. Loona was very well prepared; he had an amazing knowledge of the area, the landmarks and the significant events of the past. Best of all, he delivered his tour in a manner that was factual, totally engaging throughout, and full of humour. As somebody who was born in London, and worked many years in Canary Wharf, I was learning new facts throughout the entire walk. Places that I had previously walked past a hundred times, without stopping to look, now take on a totally new meaning for me. Be prepared to hear about the birth of the Labour Party, and even London’s first China Town, plus much much more. I won’t spoil things by saying much more. I have attended many tours over the years, in many different countries, but this one easily takes first prize. It is very evident that Loona takes a great pride in developing his tours and enjoys sharing the many hidden wonders of London to his guests. I would highly recommend Loona as a tour guide, his well-researched tours are an absolute must for anybody wanting to do more than simply gazing at landmarks. I’m looking forward to attending my next tour in the coming weeks. A 10/10 score on all fronts!!

What a fantastic afternoon! Loona took us back and forth through time with his detailed knowledge, mixed in with wit and humour. His energy and passion really shone through. I look forward to attending another of his tours.
