What to expect

A fascinating walk between two of London’s most famous landmarks by the banks of the River Thames. Here's a short Youtube video about this tour: https://youtu.be/WnyKf8iNnhg Join this great Let's Discover London walk ... we start at the the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral and hear stories of the physical and theological challenges of Wren's design and walk past a gate to the city which once had spiked heads of traitors. We learn the sad story of Queen Anne and her grand legacy, see the College of Arms, the ‘wobbly bridge’, the power station that became a famous gallery, the site of Shakespeare’s original Globe theatre, cruel bear baiting, tales of the foul-mouthed ferrymen, tales of fire and ice and all the naughty things that happened at Bankside. We then pass the ruins of the Bishop of Winchester's Palace, a ship that went round the world 500 years ago, Southwark Cathedral and finally London Bridge where I'll leave you at Borough Market for a spot of lunch or a riverside drink.
