Its position over the river Tweed and the North Sea offers amazing views. We will also have time for a walk in the main street. • Bamburgh Castle Our journey leads us to the impressive Bamburgh Castle which is placed in a unique landscape, next to a white sand beach. Among other movies, El Cid, Robin Hood and Elizabeth have been filmed there. We will be able to visit the castle interior and its massive collection of objects related to aviation from two world wars. • Alnwick Castle Our third stop will be at Alnwick Castle, the second biggest castle in the United Kingdom, whose first buildings were erected in 1096. It will not be too difficult to recognise the most famous school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hogwarts, where the younger fans of Harry Potter can also enjoy a broomstick training.
