PH Coffee

We start out our experience at P.H. Coffee, a local coffee shop and community space in a historic building.

North Terrace Park Lake

We share about the history of this tranquil lake, see native plants and walk over a century old bridge along Cliff Drive.

Cliff Drive State Scenic Byway

We walk on this off the beaten path pedestrian only byway, surrounded by limestone rockface and trees. After enjoy the solitude of Cliff Drive, we walk up 160 steps to get to hilly field which takes us to the Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood. We see historic mansions, some that even look like castles.

Kansas City Museum

We make our way to the Kansas City Museum housed in the historic R. A. Long Corinthian style mansion and get a taste of their exhibits highlighting untold stories of Kansas City.

The Concourse Park

We walk through the Scarritt Renaissance neighborhood and reach the Concourse Park and explore The Colonnade. A limestone colonnade area built in 1908. While at the park we also slide down a giant slide for people of all ages!

Kessler Park Reservoir

We walk through the Scarritt Renaissance and Pendleton Heights neighborhood towards our starting place and make one last stop at an urban decayed gem: The Kessler Reservoir filled graffiti and plants growing wildly around it.
