All tours depart from Salem's Old Town Hall, on the three steps. A local historian guides you through the cobblestone-lined streets of this 17th century city by the glow of lantern light. Explore the driving factors behind the infamous Witch Trials Hysteria of 1692, meeting real practicing witches along the way. Learn about the rise of Salem as a world-class haunted seaport, creating some of the wealthiest families in its history.

Essex Street Pedestrian Mall

We will be strolling the cobblestoned streets of the Essex St Pedestrian walking mall. This is the very heart of Salem, which once was a Native American trading path. You will visit the site of the First Church of Salem and hear the haunting tale of the Lady in Blue.

Bewitched Statue of Elizabeth Montgomery

One of the most photographed sites in the city, the Bewitched statue will be your next stop. Learn how the locals *really* felt about this 9 foot bronze statue being dedicated in 2005. Why are their security cameras fixed on Samantha?

Justin was an amazing tour guide! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and really told the stories with flair. Though it was a long walking tour (compared to many others we've done), he kept us engaged and entertained the whole time. It really gave us a much deeper understanding of what actually went down in Salem, vs what we thought. Would highly recommend this tour in Salem. Thanks a million, Justin!

We thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour. Our guide, Dani, was amazing. We loved learning about Witch Trial History, haunted happenings, and the ins and outs of Salem. I highly recommend it! Suggestion: Find a bathroom before you go. It is a 2 hr tour.

This was my first time in New England and I really wanted to know about the history of Salem, MA. Lo and behold I found this tour. Our tour guide Duo was fantastic. He knew almost everything about everyone and everything in Salem. He was very knowledgeable on his history as well as patient with his time to allow for questions. Salem is a cool town and I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

What a great experience! My husband and I had been to Salem many times before (we went to art school the next town over) but this was our first organized tour. This was our first time bringing our 12 year old son to Salem and we initially thought this would be best for him to learn more about Salem's history, the hauntings part being a fun bonus. It turned out to be amazing for all of us. Ryan, our tour guide (who deserves a raise by the way!), was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, starting with a brief history on how Salem was established. We then walked by lantern light and stopped at various locations throughout the town to hear stories about the history of Salem during the witch trials, with every other stop being a story of a haunting or horrific happening in Salem. My husband and I learned more than we ever knew and our kid got a good understanding of the history. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic story teller. And completely entertaining all around. He made sure we heard him, and understood what he was saying, and gave us the opportunity to ask questions which he fully answered and made sure we were satisfied with the answer before proceeding. All around a fantastic experience. Our son said it was one of his top Salem experiences. He loved the history and the creepy stories! So glad we did this tour!

What a fascinating tour! Aurelia was our guide and she kept us entertained with stories and history of Salem, not only about the ‘witch hunts’! I absolutely recommend taking her tour.
