We went for a full day wine tour, had an amazing time. Our driver and tour was funny and very friendly. Cannot rate enough!

This tour was good, but not great. We enjoyed the wineries we visited and our driver was friendly. However, we were disappointed by the lunch location (an average pub) which didn't make the most of being in a wine region - nothing special about the food, or the location, no unique wines and no view despite being in the gorgeous Hunter Valley. The tour also advertised wine and chocolate tasting. We were taken to a local cheese store where we given a couple of cubes of cheese and it was a similar experience for the chocolate. This was a let down at the end of the day.

Stay Away!! Owner is extremely rude, lacks empathy and theres is no room for her understanding or wanting to understand your circumstances. BEWARE OF BOOKING. I UNDERSTAND FINE PRINTS. BUT I WAS WRITING AN EMAIL FROM HOSPITAL WITH MY 6MONTH BABY THAT WAS RUSHED THAT DAY TO HOSPITAL WITH RSV AND COVID. Tried to postpone my booking i wasnt interested in a full refund i was still going to rebook in a month or so. That very morning which was on the dot of 7 days prior. i received an email confirming all spots for the tour. So i thought she would atleast understand and give us a credit or partial credit for our reshedualed booking. We were ment to celebrate our 6 yr wedding anniversary. I get times are tough for businesses but everyone is doing it tough. Im siting in hospital with tubes around my baby. It wasnt a reason of i just cant attend my baby was very close to going to icu. Response was rude, dismissive and lacked empathy only caring about herself. Where have the kind and caring humans in the world gone. My hotel was able to give us a credit and she said she wouldnt do it. Disgusting!! Will not book with her or reccomemed a greedy, rude, dismissive company to tour a beautiful place with. When you do good it comes back to you when you dont well im sure karma looks after that.

Ken was an amazing host, had the funnest ever day !!!! We had a fun time at every stop and had lots of nice wines. I really feel that every day is a school day because I learnt a lot about white wine, red wine and rosé Xxxx

I booked this bus not knowing much about the long lunch we were wanting to do and they answered all my questions quickly and kindly. Driver was friendly, kind and accommodating! I would book this service again every time! Thank you Suzanne and Paul x

I absolutely adored this tour. We had Kevin as our guide and he nurtured a super fun environment on the bus, as well as made it really easy to breakdown the “awkwardness” and connect with the other groups on the tour. We are in the Hunter Valley for a 21st birthday and booked this tour because it was on the more affordable side of things - let me assure you that does not mean a poor quality tour! We visited 3 lovely wineries (Allandale ranking number one), and a vodka distillery, and grabbed a bite at the Four Pines. Thank you so much for making today so enjoyable!! One special twenty first checked off the list.

I booked a private tour for a group of 20 for my 30th birthday. I contacted a few tour providers but Suzanne's quote and email was by the far the most prompt and thorough. Great communication right up until the trip and we had a wonderful driver Joe who helped the day run smoothly. The standout winery for our large group was Tulloch wines who had amazing service and location, and we also really enjoyed Tamburlaine Organic Wines and First Creek Wines with lunch at 4 Pines. Pokolbin Estate was the least favourite, as we were seated in quite a dark room and the host didn't go into much detail about the wines and forgot about us at the end of the tasting (this is in no way the tour organisers fault but I would just avoid picking that winery for your itinterary if you had a large group like us). Would definitely book a tour with Tastes of the Hunter again!

My friend and I had the best day - we had an exceptional driver/guide and a lovely group. The wineries were great and we all loved the cheese and wine pairing at Two Fat Blokes. Highly recommend this tour!

What a fantastic tour! Our driver Suzanne picked us up from out hotel in Newcastle, transported us through the Hunter all day, accommodated extra toilet breaks and even handed over the reigns for the music. The vineyards and tasting were not only delivious but very informative. Our tour bus was full and by the end of the trip everyone was best friends and some even exchanging numbers. I will definitely be back. Thank you Suzanne :)

We had the best time on this tour, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun filled day. Our driver Ray was so lovely, friendly and accommodating to our whole group, we all loved him. The cost included transport from Newcastle to Hunter Valley & back, all of the stops and tastings which was such great value.
