We had a wonderful and delicious evening with Shree! She took us to all the locations and we were served immediately at each. She was able to describe ingredients and explain cooking methods and had an indepth knowledge of each dish and different indian regions. Because it was Easter evening no one else was in our group but we had a wonderful time regardless. And we walked away quite full and happy!

We’ve done many food tours with Secret Food tours and this one topped them all. Come hungry because you will feast for hours. Our guide Amin was a true expert and a kind soul who taught us a lot and fed us until we could barely walk. The tour covers Brick Lane, aka Banglatown. The food is spectacular! An experience you’ll never forget.

Dhanashree was a lovely tour guide; funny as well as filled with facts about the area & its history. Really enjoyable evening, and we were all completely full by the end of it, on food that I wouldn’t usually order! Thanks Dhanashree again, a lovely evening in the company of great people.

Dhanashree was an amazing guide!! Not only was she knowledgeable in her teachings but it was reassuring that she actually ate/enjoyed the food with us to show that the food was actually good!!! We are so so happy to have met her and had her as our guide for this delicious tour.

My partner and I did this tour with our guide Tamiza in February 2024, and found it to be an excellent blend of South Asian cuisine and local history. Tamiza went the extra mile to make it enjoyable and was very happy to hold court on a variety of topics beyond the food. There are four courses (including dessert) to get through, so come hungry! There is also a trip to an exotic food supermarket if you should like to have a go at replicating what you’ve tasted on tour, while there is also an interesting spice test to try your knowledge on the various condiments commonly used in South Asian gastronomy. I’d thoroughly recommend the Brick Lane tour, it was an excellent addition to our holiday.

We were 2 of a 14 person tour. Our guide was Dhanashree. We had a great time, the food was excellent, our guide Dhanashree was great, informative, fun and full of knowledge. She knows her stuff :-) Would highly recommend this tour, just watch out for the green chillies as they pack a punch :-)

What a great experience we had with a group of 10 of us So interesting to hear about the variety of cultures living and trading in such a small area. Food was fantastic and so much of it Dhanashree was our guide and the amount of knowledge was unreal. Would totally recommend this tour. Great fun. One tip though. Don’t eat anything before. Go starving! We were so so full up!

Dhanashree was a great host! She gave us so many options of amazing food, but also gave us the context of all the dishes as to where they come from, regional variations, and how to best enjoy them. It was a great evening, and was a highlight of my London trip!

Great food tour. Learned more about Indian food than I ever knew. Also learned a great deal about the area and London that helped shape where to go and eat the remainder of the trip.
