    Absolutely an amazing experience. Other than snuba and a handful of snorkeling this is my first diving experience. It was a perfect intro to the underwater world. He is patient and kind. The equipment is high quality and well maintained. He teaches all the basics before you're in the water. He had everyone practice each skill in the water. Then it's just like any other dive, free to explore and look at anything you want. It's a beautiful shore dive with a reef RIGHT THERE. He is right there as your private photographer and in case you might need anything. The experience was amazing but I'm sure you can get that in a handful of places on the island. I recommend this place specifically because I'd the equipment and the instructor. His passion makes this dive better than any other dive I've been on. I will be giving him my business again.

    Incredibly memorable experience!!! Our family (2 adults, 3 kids ages 20, 16, 13) had the best time with Kevin! Kevin's personality of warm, excitable, kind, laid-back-yet-intently-focused-on-safety made us very comfortable. I had 2 moments of panic in the water and he handled the situation so gently and calmly. My family loved it so much, 4 of us went for a second dive which they loved even more than the first dive! We saw an enormous sea turtle and many fish. Kevin takes tons of photos too (for additional fee). We had a little trouble with the download and Kevin and his wife were quick and attentive to solve the problem. Kevin's positive approach on life is inspiring and contagious. MAHALO.

    This scuba diving tour requires the ability to swim comfortably in the ocean. Shore diving in Kaanapali, Maui provides year-round perfect ocean conditions to try scuba diving. Under the guidance of your expert dive instructor, you get to learn the basics of scuba diving by practicing a few skills in shallow water and experience an exhilarating scuba dive. Guests often see turtles, eels, and large schools of tropical fish! This Beginner Scuba Dive experience takes about 2 hours. PLEASE READ TO AVOID EXPULSION FROM THE ACTIVITY: Swimming Ability in the ocean is REQUIRED. You must wait at sea level for 18 hours to fly, zipline, or ascend Haleakala AFTER your dive(s). Before scuba diving, you will fill out an important medical statement. You must be able to answer "NO" to each question. Any "YES" ON THE MEDICAL STATEMENT REQUIRES A CLEARANCE FROM YOUR DOCTOR. You can Google "PADI Medical Form" to review this statement. FAILURE TO ADHERE TO EACH OF THE ABOVE 3 STATEMENTS WILL LEAD TO REMOVAL FROM THE EXPERIENCE WITHOUT A REFUND.
