Visit Fort George, The mightiest artillery fortification in Britain. Following the 1746 defeat at Culloden of Bonnie Prince Charlie, George II created the ultimate defence against further Jacobite unrest. The result, Fort George, is the mightiest artillery fortification in Britain, if not Europe. Also a great spot for Dolphin spotting in the Moray Firth.

Explore the newly renovated Victorian Market which has a great variety of eateries and shops to visit from the Bad Girl Bakery to some really special Scottish Cuisine and even Sushi. Pick out some wonderful girts from a loch ness monster to the same ring that Claire Fraser wore in the Outlander TV series! Something to cater for all tastes. Also time to check out Inverness City centre in the meantime. Lunch not included.

Loch Ness

Come and take in the breathtaking sights of Loch Ness and even dip your toe in the Loch (only if you want to), join in the search for that very elusive Loch Ness Monster ‘Nessie’. Spend 20 minutes driving around Loch Ness and a further 20 minutes for a photograph stop at a secluded spot at the side of Loch Ness.
