What to expect?

When you join our Learn to Surf program, you can expect an immersive and hands-on experience in the world of surfing. The lesson starts with a meet-up at our trailer in the car park at Beach Access No 11 in Claude Batten Drive at Noosa Heads. Our friendly and experienced surf instructors, who are also surf life savers, will provide you with a long-sleeved rash/sun shirt or a wetsuit (in winter) and help you select the perfect beginner surf board for your size. The lesson begins with a safety talk and basic instruction on the beach, ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident before hitting the waves. You'll then head into waist-deep water to catch your first few waves, gradually building up your skills and confidence. The instructor will be by your side, guiding and assisting you every step of the way.

Good to know

In addition to the surf lesson, we provide all the necessary equipment, including a soft beginner surf board and rash vests or wetsuit. It's important to bring your own food and drinks for the duration of the lesson, as they are not included. To find us, simply turn left into Hastings Street and continue towards the river mouth. Keep going until you reach the last shops, and then continue through the Noosa Woods until you find our Go Ride A Wave trailer at Beach Access No 11.
