Went to legoland Discovery today for my daughter 11th birthday. She wanted to do something to include her 4years autistic brother who also has sensor disorder, we were able to source a special 50% off all admissions which made the cost of this experience more worth while. I'm not sure I'd have paid the full price for this. We all had an amazing time and the whole family was kept entertained. The 4D cinema was brilliant with squirms of water, smoke mist and foam. The kids absolutely loved it.

We had such a lovely few hours here on father's day. We managed to get tickets using our tesco clubcard vouchers so only paid £15 for a family of 3. We didn't bother with the photos. It's a great little place. 2 decent rides, good build stations and a soft play. There were different games going on all day like a dance party, scavenger hunt and a meet and greet with a lego character. There's the option to join a build session with a master lego builder which was £5. The kids all build a little lego which they can keep and take home. You have to book this at a temperamental little machine inside. I'd recommend taking a pic of the confirmation number as the printer was causing issues. Once inside you can stay as long as you want and keep going on the rides. The mini town museum is excellent with lots of familiar and interactive builds. There's a lego store as you'd expect and a good value cafe/Costa. A kids lunch bag was £5.50. We managed to get a lego passport for my daughter and her first stamp. She now keeps asking to go back every day.

I just can’t believe how expensive it is for so so little. Un-interested staff, you have to queue for pics before you even get In. A real waste of time

We had a good day there from 11.15am to 5pm. It was quiet so we could go on the 2 rides loads of times, watch all 3 4D movies showing today and test out numerous cars on the ramps. It was a little disappointing that it is smaller than the Manchester one and there is no car driving. We were really annoyed that there was no where we were allowed to eat our picnic. It cost a fortune to get in and we couldn't really afford to spend more money! The meal deal was reasonably priced at £7.50 for a panini, crisps, drink and muffin but when you have a bag full of food at your feet it's expensive! We ended up sharing two between 4 of us to keep us going. For something that is aimed at families and young children who are notorious for being fussy eaters, not letting us bring in our own food is disappointing. It's a great day out if you enjoy making lego or if you have young children. Our 8 year still enjoyed it a lot, our 13 year old was occupied but it's mostly geared to younger ones.

We bought the double ticket for Legoland Discovery Centre (LDC) and Cadbury World and LDC was our clear favourite of the two, despite being the smaller venue. The range of activities, including rides, building challenges, miniland, soft play and 4D cinema were more varied than we expected, and my daughter had a lot of fun mixing it up and trying different things out. The staff were also really good at engaging the kids, with a scavenger hunt and mini figure mascots appearing in the time we were there. We visited in the May half term and while it was busy it wasn't too busy and we got to try everything. The cafe had a range of food and drink and service was quick. We would definitely go to LDC again, it was a really fun way to spend 3 hours, and my daughter had a great time.

Exhibit and play area is nice, but the poor review is for the photos. We finished our tour and found there were no photo printing opportunities upstairs, meaning I had to go back into the venue to get them printed. I went to the counter but there seemed to be a problem with the printing, which staff didn't tell anybody about, meaning I stood for 20 minutes with no explanation as to what was happening. I then went to a self service machine in the play area, which was broken and didn't recognise the barcode I had for our picture. It was my son's 2nd birthday and we really wanted something to remember the visit. Even worse, the Lego website says the best way to contact them is via Facebook messenger. I reached out to ask if there was anything we could do RE: the photos (like going back another day, if the barcode was still valid). They read the message and ignored it.

What a morning. All of the staff had super customer service. we arrived at 10am in half term it was the only slot we could book the first hour and a half was mildly quiet. We played then got snacks & coffee- reasonably priced. Well worth the 90 minute drive there. The lad making the bunnies has the patients of a saint he helped our girl age 3 to build literally made our visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and the dancing was such good fun. It was our first visit and we will def return.

Massively overpriced for what it offers. We got two free tickets through Sky but even then, it cost £46 for two hours of a very underwhelming experience. This is definitely geared towards under 7s. There’s two very basic rides and the shooting gallery, which we went on twice, was not working properly on both occasions. The other ride was more suited to very small children. The mini land of the local area was well thought out, but personally I found it spoiled by having dragons and other Lego build monsters dotted around. A large number of Lego people had collapsed within the display: I assume death from boredom. We went around the (tiny) area slowly, did the rides twice and two 4D showings to try and get a sense of value for money but the whole experience was so very mediocre. The creative element and build area was also very underwhelming. Small children were barging in front and adults were not much better behaved. The experience was capped off by a very classy man accusing a child of assaulting his child in the soft play. He then proceeded to use every swear word imaginable at the top of his voice in front of dozens of children and threatening to kick the s**t out of the kid’s dad when he found the f*****g p***k. It was at this point we chose to leave as the already poor experience was tarnished by this and we felt unsafe. It would help if there was more proactive supervision by staff in the soft play and the build areas. Once the alarm was raised then a large number appeared, which begs the question what they are usually doing.

What is there is good, the 2 rides, the 4D film, small soft play and some lego to play with but that is it. If you stay for more than 2 hours (without stopping in the cafe) I'd be surprised.

Brilliant experience with my family which included my 4 year old great niece, who absolutely loved it: she found it exciting and didn't want to leave. I know we will come back again and again. The staff were brilliant and helpful. My only criticism is there not being a sign saying exactly where to queue for the cafe. The staff were brilliant but at busy times there is no instruction or sign as to where you should actually queue.
