Tour of Nymphenburg Palace and Carriage Museum in Munich. Our experienced Local Guide will lead the group of up to 25 participants to the palace entrance through the landscaped front garden with a fountain. At every turn, you will be amazed by the beauty and grand scale of these palace grounds, as they even surpass Versailles in frontal width. Forget about long queues at the ticket office, as we provide skip-the-line tickets to save you time. Inside the Nymphenburg Palace, you will experience the true spirit of Baroque, as each room is decorated with beautiful frescos, old paintings, ornate tapestry, antique furniture and other treasures that testify to the aesthetics and power of the House of Wittelsbach. The guide will share fascinating stories about their court life, and show you highlights such as the Max Emanuel's Great Gallery of Beauties, the Coat of Arms Chamber, the Chinese Lacquer Cabinet, the Queen’s Apartment and the Palace Chapel.

Marstallmuseum

You will also visit the Carriage Museum (Marstallmuseum), which houses one of the largest collections of representative coaches and sleighs in the world, including the original Coronation Coach of Emperor Karl VII. You will learn about princely coach building, travel and equestrian culture of the royals. In the summer, you can also freely explore the extensive Nymphenburg Palace Park (closed in winter). Pre-booked tickets to Nymphenburg Palace and Carriage Museum allow you to skip the line at the ticket office, but not at the entrance and security checks.
In summer (April - September), admission includes the Nymphenburg Palace Park, which you can freely explore after the guided tour. The park is closed in winter (October-March).
The gardens are not green or lit up in winter, so it’s best to book a tour in spring, summer or early autumn.
We're not afraid of the sun and rain, so the tour will take place as planned, regardless of weather, so please check the forecast and dress appropriately.
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
