"Nami Island is especially famous during winter after K-Drama Winter Sonata was filmed there. Nami Island is 63 km away from Seoul in the direction of Chuncheon, and is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. The island is 30 minutes away from Chuncheon and an hour away from the suburbs of Seoul. Since it is not far from Seoul, many couples and families come to visit.

Is a great spot to visit for families, couples, and photographers alike. The garden was conceptualized by Professor Han Sang-kyung， his vision was to create a garden that would become world-famous and spread the concept of Korean beauty throughout the world. The inspiration for the garden stemmed from a poem written by Sir Tagore, a great Indian poet, who described Korea during the Joseon Dynasty as "The Land of the Morning Calm." Flowers are in bloom from March to November, so the garden is usually busy during this period. In addition to the beautiful foliage of the garden, there are a variety of festivals and displays held throughout the year.

It was a kind and funny guide but it was difficult to understand what he said. It was too short stop at the garden and Nami island. We did not get to see everything. It should be clear before the start that we stop quickly at a restaurant and you can't choose where to eat and how much it will cost. Otherwise it was nice.

We had our tour this morning and Sung, our guide, was really awesome. He gave us a good background of the places we visited and was very open to our queries/concerns. He aslo attended to all our needs inside andp outside the bus, from food to information about the tour. Will definitely book again when we return.

The tour was OK. We were able to see a lot, even if unfortunately a lot of things were closed. That was probably due to the winter season. The sales event for the seaweed paper was unfortunately unnecessary and superfluous. The restaurant "recommendation" was also very poor.
