The trip was awesome, lunch with the view was a great added bonus to trip. Hike was easy to moderate. If i would have known the hike was well signed as it was probably would have saved money and not went on a toured hike, but was able to get great information about the plant life and trails from guide so that made up for it.

This was a great experience! My mother and I enjoyed this very much. Although it was slightly difficult for her (she’s 70), our tour guide, Susumu, was so patient and kind. He really made the trip quite entertaining and comfortable, and was focused on all of us having the full experience of Hawaiian nature.

Our guide D was awesome! Very good value for money, easy walk, delish food and the bonus look out at the end was very much appreciated. I highly recommend this walk…

Our tour guide was Jackson and Anoi (for Japanese cohort that day). They were both excellent. The tour was beyond amazing. Jackson stayed with us while walking up the waterfall. He made sure we all got pictures. I would rate the hike easy to moderate. The hike is rocky and can be slippery at times. And there are a few stairs and the path can also be uneven at times, but it is doable for most people. We had an excellent lunch at one of two lookout points after our hike which was unexpected and quite beautiful. I would recommend this hike to everyone.

Hiking and learning about Manoa Falls from our tour guide. The sun was out and no rain; we were prepared for the hike.

Juni was a great host. The trail was not easy; the pace and terrain was challenging for old folks and people with any kind of disability. The falls was pretty! The stop at the office store seems like a ploy to get tourists to buy something, lunch and the picnic view was great.

Our tour guide D was wonderful. He was very friendly and personable! We had plenty of time to enjoy the hike and lunch.

The picnic out over the lookout was an awesome experience. Juney and Ross were such great tour guides. They were very friendly and it was a joy to get to know them.

Jackson was our guide and from the start of the trip he was awesome. A lot of great energy was brought to the van. The hike was not too difficult but not too easy. Even though the waterfall wasn’t at its peak as far as flow, it was a beautiful view. Very peaceful and scenic hike. Jackson took time to explain the vegetation and its importance on the hike and afterwards he took us to Pu’u ‘Ualaka’a State Park great place for a lookout and to eat the delicious lunch provided. I am sure they all do a great job as they were all very friendly but if you happen to get Jackson, you’re in for a treat.

Daisuke was an entertaining and interestinf guide. Hiking up the mountain was also grear with stunning views of the waterfall. Definitely a must-see while in Honolulu.
