The tour brought history to life on a beautiful day in New Orleans Louisiana. I learned to appreciate the history and music of Treme.

Our tour guide was David Higgins and he was amazing! We met him at the coffee shop and, before we knew he was our guide I told my wife…that guy looks like a cool guy, I wish he was our guide! And he was! We had an entertaining time, he told us lots of interesting information about the history of New Orleans and the areas we walked around. He gave useful historical context to New Orleans, as well as silly stuff like playing Miles Davis to a bird that hangs out along the way. It was a highlight to our trip, we recommend it for everyone!

I received a text message a hour before the tour stating that our tour guide called in sick. It has been 3 weeks and I am still trying to get my money back for this. Be careful when booking with this company.

Mr. David Higgins was an amazing historian and storyteller! My sisters and I were blown away at the history we learned. Like mind blown! This was probably one of the highlights of my trip! I would love to continue to do more tours with this company and would highly highly recommend anyone to sign-up for this tour. I guarantee you would love it!

We had David as our tour guest. He was incredibly informative, linking everything together beautifully. I loved his humour, and everything about this tour!

This was a really good tour and David is a great guide. He knows a lot about the city, its musical history and he clearly likes his job! He made it fun and interesting and even customized the tour a bit based on things we were interested in. I recommend this tour for early in your trip to New Orleans so you can learn about the city and places that you may want to explore on your own

Voodoo, jazz and history with an awesome tour guide. Treme is such an interesting neighborhood and not far from the French quarter.

PolyDeOliveira

This was our first tour in New Orleans, and we were so grateful for it, since it contextualized the city's history, landmarks, and geography, so that we would have a better appreciation for our stay. David was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but funny, kind, and attentive, even dropping us off at a great gumbo spot at the end of our tour and giving recommendations for the remainder of our trip! Thank you David!

We had not originally planned to do this tour, however we had a spare day in New Orleans and it came highly recommended by another traveler we meet and so booked in last minute and it did not disappoint, the guide was entertaining and had loads of character but was also super informative and had a fantastic ability to weave to stories and history of this area of New Orleans together into a very entertaining 2 hour walk. Just a small note for those who don't know; you do not enter St Louis No1 cemetery on this tour as only one tour company can run tours in the cemetery, however the guide will explain the process and history of the cemetery at its gates, if you want to enter the cemetery you need to book a specific St Louis No1 tour, though this is not the fault of this tour company or guide as was a decision made buy the managers of the cemetery a few years back.
