The Dyckman Farmhouse Museum can be found sitting high above the corner of Broadway at 204th Street in Inwood. The Dutch Colonial style farmhouse was built on this site c. 1784. It was home to the Dyckman family for almost a century. It opened as a museum in 1916 and continues to serve the community in a half-acre park. King Manor Museum interprets founding father Rufus King’s political legacy and antislavery history to teach critical thinking for a healthier democracy. Rufus King (1755 - 1827) bought this house and property in 1805 as a country estate, where he led a conventional family life in Jamaica, Queens (then Long Island). A devoted scholar of agricultural science, Rufus focused on improving the land and experimenting with crops, turning it into a successful working farm. Included: Free Admission

The mission of the Noble Maritime Collection, an art and history museum on Staten Island, is to present exhibitions and programs that celebrate the working waterfront of New York Harbor in the tradition of distinguished artist John A. Noble (1913-1983), and to preserve Robbins Reef Lighthouse and the history of Sailors’ Snug Harbor. The 28,500-square-foot museum has three floors with galleries, classrooms, a library, archives, and a print studio. The centerpiece is John A. Noble's unique19th-century houseboat studio, restored and installed within the museum. The museum presents 11 permanent and changing exhibitions a year.
