Not much. Food was ok, but no live jazz band that tour description and email confirmation stated would be included. The 1 hr stop at this visitor center where there is a Eurocentric museum, was too long and uneccesary. Go somewhere else for a river tour

A Fantastic & interesting trip down the Mississippi. Lovely paddle steamer, clean, lots of seating on all decks, bar selling alcohol and soft drinks. Charlie chestnut was our tour guide who was so knowledgable without being boring and really helped make the trip so enjoyable. Lots to see and hear about. Well worth the money and would highly recommend.

WONDERFUL!!! JUST WONDERFUL!!! You will love this river cruise. The bread pudding they had was very tasty.

Most enjoyable trip down the Mississippi. Charles, the narrator for the trip was fabulous. Learned a great deal about the Battle of New Orleans and the Katrina hurricane and aftermath. Well done.

Not the best $55 I’ve ever spent. Inquire ahead to inquire about whether or not my dietary allergies could be accommodated. Was told a resounding yes, that gluten-free, vegetarian and even vegan options would be available. Only to get on board to discover the only think I could eat was Romain lettuce and green beans. Staff were kind but not very knowledgeable about the ingredients in the food.

The food was fabulous and Charles was an awesome narrator! Being able to explore the battlefield was a memorable experience and the museum narratives, artifacts, and visuals further enhanced the experience. We would highly recommend this excursion.

Very informational tour! So cool to see sights and experience the river on the boat! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the battleground/museum was cool to see!

The Creole Queen River Cruise not only takes you on a wonderful cruise on the mighty Mississippi River but stops at the Chalmette Battlefield. Along the way a narrator detailed the history of the city and the river. Very informative and nice to have an actual person that can answer questions. It was also nice to get to see the view of New Orleans and the French Quarter from the river. I did get to see and take a few pictures of “...the good side of the city …” (CCR). The cruise goes to Chalmette Battlefield where we spent an hour and took a short, guided tour. The tour was very informative, and the site is very cool. They have somewhat recreated the battlelines. It doesn’t take much imagination to visualize what it was like there during the battle. If the tour isn’t your thing, you can stay onboard, especially if it’s hot, and enjoy bottomless mimosas.

It could have been a great experience. But we no sooner boarded and shoved off and it poured down raining. The food was adequate. The crew was super friendly and attentive to all our needs. The historian was so informative, giving us lots of information and sharing her knowledge freely. We couldn’t stop at Chalmette Battlefield because of the weather. That was disappointing. Check the weather before booking this cruise.

Didn’t like the food or entertainment. Long drawn out and didn’t capture my attention long. Maybe I should try dinner time.
