The bakery's signature item is its famous Hawaiian sweetbread, a soft and fluffy bread that's perfect for sandwiches, French toast, or simply enjoyed on its own. In addition to the sweetbread, Punalu'u Bakery offers a variety of other baked goods, including savory breads, pastries, cookies, and cakes. Some of the most popular items include the taro bread, a unique bread made from taro root that has a slightly sweet, nutty flavor, and the malasada, a Portuguese-style doughnut that's fried to perfection and coated in sugar.
