We had a wonderful day with Clive. He was punctual, friendly, and certainly very knowledgeable about wine and the various wineries in the Hunter Valley. We were very happy we booked this tour. It certainly was much nicer than taking the cruise tour!

We started with a questionnaire which Clive used to draft an itinerary, and then worked through to finalize every detail before we even met in person! Even then, we were able to carve a bit of extra time for cheese and fudge tasting. The Hunter Valley is beautiful and serene, and we were treated to essentially private tastings with knowledgeable vintners. This man was well known by all, and this tour bears little similarity to American wine country tours. The people are remarkable, as were the Semillon and Shiraz wines we tasted. Be ready to be spoiled, and treated royally by this affable gentleman to whom wine is a passion.

What an experience! Best tour I've ever had at the Hunter Valley. Clive has taken us to some of the finest Breweries, Distilleries, and Chocolate shops you'll find anywhere in the world, and his service and knowledge are second to none! If I could defy the rating system, we'd give a 6 out of 5.

We had a fantastic day visiting several excellent wineries and a beautiful lunch. Clive was all the things you'd hope for in your guide - knowledgeable, punctual and good company. Communication leading up to the day was excellent with Clive providing great advice and recommendations that ensured we had a stress-free and enjoyable day out. The car was spotless and comfortable, and water and umbrellas were even provided. Clive's enthusiasm for wine and the local region really shone through - would thoroughly recommend.

Clive is an amazing tour guide or I should say a friend who takes you to an interesting ride through the hunter valley. Enjoyed every bit of the tour - myself not a big wine drinker : Clive was kind enough to curate a tour plan meeting my requirements. He is always on time and throughout the drive and on the location - he is sharing some beautiful insights about the place. And he is great photographer too. You should pick HeartOfHunter for sure if you are planning to visit any or most of the part of Hunter Valley region in Australia !! He will surely make your trip memorable.
