Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
The views down into the crater turned popular snorkeling spot are incredible. It is fun to gaze into the crystal clear waters below and watch all the snorkelers enjoying the wildlife.
Halona Blowhole
The drive along southeast O'ahu is stunning. The rocky cliffs that lead to the crashing waves below are sight to see. Halona blowhole is a great stop. Along with the famous blowhole you will also enjoy, eternity beach (famous filming location), views of some other Hawaiian islands and if you are lucky whales (only in the winter months).
Makapu‘U Point
This is a beautiful photo op with sweeping views of the mountains down to the sea. Rabbit island sits just offshore and makes for a lovely backdrop.
Byodo-In Temple
This small scale replica of temple in Japan is an incredible place to visit. The Koolau mountains make for an incredible backdrop and the bridge to the temple is a great spot to capture a photo. Don't forget to ring the bell!
Kualoa Regional Park
Welcome to Jurassic Park (seriously this stop is right across from the valley where they filmed much of the movie). This is an amazing photo stop with incredible mountain views as well as the iconic offshore island Chinaman's hat.
Nu’uanu Pali
The Nu'uanu Pali lookout offers stunning views of the east side of the island. It is also the site of a famous battle. Let your hair blow in the breeze at this often windy overlook.
