Steven was an excellent tour guide, he was incredibly knowledgable and allowed us to experience the exhibits solo when it was appropriate (meaning "I will be right outside , take a few minutes and walk through this section of the exhibit so you can take it all in"). He understood the emotions and didn't want his presence to become front and center to the Dachau memorial site. It's tough to process what man is capable of doing to another man, everyone should visit so we don't ever forget.

Achim spent the day with us and did not disappoint in relation to what I paid for. I wanted someone who was going to be able to share with us, and answer questions, and have a bit more of a private experience as I didn't want to get bogged down with a group. Achim and I did not find common ground on certain items, but I didn't expect to given the topic and nature of the tour. I think it's a complicated piece of history, but he was able to make some points and bring up some things that moved how I think and how I thought. One area we found great agreement on relates to the fact the the references made to concentration camps, and Nazis is used so much today that it's offensive to the people who actually suffered here. There are no other places like these, and the suffering here was so horrific, that it should not be used in political discourse. He makes some great points on that and it really able to bring forth these ideas. I was so grateful to him for his knowledge. Great tour, insanely solemn, but great lesson in history...which is what I wanted.

This was an excellent tour of a very difficult and disturbing memorial sight. Sam was a very good guide and was able to give us a lot of information about the events in Munich/Germany at the time the camp was opened and the historical details about the people who came to the camp, the town, and the Officers involved in camp administration. Sam was very respectful of the site and what occurred here. We learned so much from Sam and this tour. I would highly recommend him guide and this tour! Kim & Mike Burrell
