To begin your whale watching experience, make your way to the coast and check-in at the designated meeting point. For the 8:30 AM tour, head to Slip #4 at the Wailoa Boat Harbor (181 Manono Street Hilo, HI 96720) 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour. If you choose the 10:30 AM or 12:30 PM tour, check-in at the Hilo Ocean Adventures storefront (1717 Kamehameha Ave. Hilo, HI 96720) an hour before the tour. Be prepared for a total duration of 90 minutes, during which you will be enchanted by the sight of Humpback Whales and have the opportunity to snorkel in the pristine waters of Hawai’i.
