The food on this tour was very good and there was enough to satisfy our lunchtime tour time. We really appreciated the history of L.A. Venice as well as the Venice beach area. This is a good overall tour for the Venice area.

Our guide, Brandon, was great and shared a lot of history about the food and city. The food at every stop on this tour was delicious, and we had so much fun.

Had a group of 9 which allowed for plenty of interaction. Brandon had a lot of interesting information about Venice Beach's history and took us to see several murals. We had a frozen acai smoothie bowl, fish taco, birria taco, empanada, fettuccine bolognese, Agua fresca and gluten-free churro waffle bites. More variety would have been great - especially when Brandon said the area was known for its excellent Thai and Korean. Didn't really understand why pasta was on the menu. Would also have appreciated a bottle of water.

My spouse and I have done many food tours; I’d say this was in the top 10%. Very good mix of food, history, sights, and walking. Highly recommend for a unique way to spend a few hours in LA on travel or if you’re local. I from here originally, but learned a ton of info the Venice history.

On a recent trip to LA we found a little free time and did a Venice beach food walking tour with Secret tours. Our guide Anich made for such an enjoyable experience. She educated us from everything from local culture and art to the more famous spots, such as Muscle Beach or Hinano Café, where Jim Morrison hung out and wrote his music back in the day. Who even knew that Venice is not just the name of a place but it actually was a city with gondolas and canals and homes along a waterfront in the 20s?? The food was amazing with something tempting for every palate. It was such a pleasurable afternoon, easy-going, beautiful weather, educational, and we left with a fulfilled more so than just from amazing food.
