We had a great time. I really liked the cultural experiences. I had fun making my lei bracelet and palm head band. Our Hotel was less then 1/2 mile away so we were able to enjoy a nice walk along the beach and park lined sidewalk to and from the Luau.

The show was great and the MC was really funny. We were told to get there at 5.30pm even though people were already eating and the activities listed for us to do were just on finishing as the show was about to start. We were supposed to get after hours access to the aquarium but it was closed !!! for $700.00 AUS$ for 4 adults, it was pretty ordinary and not well run. A drink on arrival was either orange/pinapple juice mixed together or a Mai Thai - drinks from the bar after that were $30.00 for a pineapple with something in it or water. No wine or beer available. Food was good but again, fairly average for the price.

Best of the best! We loved it. Some of the best food. The most beautiful dancers and performers with the most colorful costumes. This is the Luau for you!

The food was tasty, although they were a little disorganized on plates & flatware. Loved the history and humor put into the show. I recommend it!

The fire dancing was so amazing. All the dancers were so amazing. The food was all good, I was too full to finish it all though.

Before Show- The good- lei greeting, the bad was waiting in line for the small free mai tai and the workers trying to upsell to a better drink- the area is just folding tables with the workers just dressed in street clothes. Dinner - all bad. As a VIP customer as soon as you sit down a server drops off plate which contains a tiny portion off all the entrées. It is a mess of food and you need to guess what you are eating. The chicken and pork were served cold. After the non VIP guest got their food, you were allowed to go back up for seconds. We only received one drink ticket per guest and that only gets you a beer or basic well drink. You have to pay extra to upgrade. Before show activities - lei making - weaving - musical instruments - fun tattoo were good. the musicians were great The Show - The production of the show is very Las Vegas lounge show. The story was good and performers did a wonderful job. I would recommend somewhere else if you wanted to see a more traditional Hawaiian hula. Overall this luau is way overpriced for what you get

Lovely luau on the beach Everyone was so kind and nice starting with the lady who gave out the leis Parking was a big problem due to a marathon going on the next day. The food and drinks were tasty Would like to see more decorations on table, but overall, I highly recommend plenty of food everything from the dancers, singers, waiters, and drummers were wonderful

The dancers put on an amazing show. The host were great and the fire dancers as perfect. First show we have been to and we loved it. Food was great and crew and dancers were very welcoming

My first Luau and this show is lack lustre and very poor in all areas. 250 USD for VIP ticket and my view was obscured! I travel a lot for leisure and have lots of comparisons e.g. Harbour lights in Barbados do a fantastic dinner show for half the price and all drinks included! The food was from 8 outside street venders served over 1 hour and not 24 hour roast hog. The show also finished before the advertised time of 2.5 hours. It finished 12 minutes early (or 20 USD at 1.67 USD per minute). Approximately 125 to 150 people attended, my guess average ticket price is 200 USD, plus extra bar drinks, for 30,000 USD revenue per night, you expect unobstructed views of a spectacular show. During the show, they made some joke about money back. At the end I asked to speak to the manager who didn’t want to speak to me, to ask for a partial refund. I said to the guy, what do I need to do to get the manger to speak to me? He ignored me. I said do I need ring the police? The manager (owner) then comes out (who is clearly a red faced alcoholic), and says I have been harassing his staff and he will ring the police to throw me off the property and press charges! At which point I just left, because clearly he doesn’t care and I am not the first to complain! Please spend your tourist dollars elsewhere people.

Disappointing. For those who may have never been to a luau or are looking for convenience to Waikiki this probably checked the right boxes, but overall we found it lackluster and disappointing. First, the setting, the luau grounds are in a fenced in "backyard" area of the Aquarium. the chain link fence takes away from the beach feel and the draw of a luau on the beach. The food was ok, there was a variety and some dishes were really good, the curry, and if you purchased VIP tickets you were served a large plate of food from the buffet before others went through the buffet line. The entertainment was fun, a bit cheesy but fun and even with the VIP tickets ($225 per person!) you paid a $16 premium for an "upgraded" drink. I am disappointed as this was our son's first luau and unfortunately this one was not memorable.
