Very nice tour! Got picked up close to our hotel at the strip. We got picked up about 30 mins late, but it's understandable due to the Strip and cunstruction for F1 race around messing up trafic. The vehicle itself was comfortable and the guide made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of water. Our guide Don was amazing, both very personal, informative and highly knowledgeable. While at the dam you both got shown around on top of the dam by Don where he told you a lot of interesting facts. Later on you also had some free time to explore and roam around the dam on your own. The tour also included the official tour inside the dam which was pretty good!

My family of four had an awesome time on our Hoover dam tour. Our driver, Steve, had a wealth of knowledge. Not just about the dam and Boulder City, but also about the surrounding mountains and valleys, Nevada and it's history, and all things Las Vegas. Pickup and introductions at the Park mgm were easy. All seats were filled, and I got to sit in the cab with Steve, which I preferred. There was a quick drive through Boulder city, seeing the various remaining buildings from the construction of the dam. At the dam it was very busy, Steve said the busiest so far this year. We parked on the Arizona side of the dam and walked back across to the elevator that took us down to the powerhouse tour on the Nevada side. Lot's of pictures and information dispensed along the way. The tour itself is very informative, viewing the rough concrete that forms the dam as well as a penstock and the generators in the power house. After the tour we had a few minutes to visit the observation deck and then head to the gift shop and cafe. The visitor center is currently being rebuilt, so not open. We had thought of renting a car and going on our own. I am so glad we didn't and went on this small group tour instead! It's not the least expensive tour I considered, but it is money well spent! We would definitely use Pink Jeep Adventure Tours again when we're back in Las Vegas!

Great half day trip to the Hoover Dam from Vegas. Mike was a great guide--endless fountain of information to keep us entertained on the drive to and from the Dam. We lucked out and had a gorgeous day too!

Money well spent. Our driver, Stephen, was the most personable , knowledgeable and patient person we have ever had on any tours. Sooo glad we didn’t attempt this on our own. 100% worth it.
