I came to Berlin with my husband and my parents who are visiting us in Europe. My husband is very into the topic of SocRealism. We were lucky enough to have a private tour with Holger, as there were only 4 of us during the whole walk. We meet Holger at the Frankfurter Tor and did the whole length of Karl Marx Allee also known as Stalinallee finishing at the Alexanderplatz. Holger is very knowledgeable and you can see that he is passionate about the subject. We learned a lot about the history of East Berlin through, the way people lived and to architectural details of the buildings we saw. Our tour finished the tour at the Treptow Memorial for the Red Army. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to find out a bit more about the most recent history of Berlin.

We did the Soviet Risen From Ruins Tour and even though Holger had other people cancel, he still did the tour for the two of us (at no extra cost) We had such a great tour, thoroughly enjoyed Holger's company, commentary, history and stories. The circuit was great, as was the architecture and the finishing point at Treptower. A remarkable morning and a highlight of our trip to Berlin from Australia. Thanks again Holger.

It was interesting to see parts of Berlin that are normally not covered in guide books and that gave an insight on other parts of Berlin's interesting history. The guide Holger was very knowledgeable and fun.

Chapeau!
