Easy to book and redeem. I just booked it half an hour before my available time-slot started. Redemption is easy. Go to the ticket counter and show the staff the booking reference number to get a ticket.

Exchanging the voucher for tickets went very smoothly. Viator pricing was less than buying direct. There are a lot more stairs throughout the tour, than I expected based on the description. I do not think they included those stairs inside the 2 venues we saw. 3 of us have trouble walking and standing, so we probably should have looked to see if an accessible tour was offered. Toward the end we asked if lifts were available, and the guide did have us use those. The Opera house is well worth seeing.

Loved our tour! Would recommend the tour of the Opera House to anyone. The hidden gems of knowledge, seeing the different theatres and understanding the history of the house was all shared on the tour and is something we wouldn’t have known prior. The tour was made better by our guide Maeve who was super friendly, informative, engaging and kept the tour super interactive. Great experience and a must do if visiting the landmark.

The iconic opera house looks beautiful in person. Pros: 1. A treat to eyes 2. The local tour operates multiple times a day. We missed our 12pm unfortunately, however the team kindly accommodated us in 12.30pm. 3. The precise explanation of the history was so great to hear 4. The tour guide was so patient and answered all our questions. 5. Of course, didn't expect a drink and food with the tour :p 6. Weather on our day of visit was perfect 7. The view of harbour bridge during night hours was mesmerizing Cons: 1. Could think of anything, just a heads-up to people with ambulatory issues, there are couple of steps (apo 300). Overall loved the experience

Profoundly dishonest. There is so much negative to report on the Sydney Opera House guided walking tour it is difficult to know where to begin. But perhaps the most significant was the exceedingly dishonest narrative that is delivered, in which Utzon is portrayed as a martyred hero rather than a totally irresponsible dreamer, who saw no problem in the massive cost and time overruns beyond his original quotations, and who for every dollar granted demanded more and more until the State Government finally took the responsible stance of sacking the man. One can only wonder what the agenda is: does the Opera House trust see themselves as entitled to unlimited funding? One would have hoped for a lot more honesty. Add to this that the guide spent far more time name dropping than actually giving meaningful information, and that we were “fortunate” to be able to see the two main halls – rather than this being a natural part of any decent tour. And then there is the booking website which demanded information far beyond that which is necessary and leaves one wondering why. If you can go with low expectations and a level of skepticism you can at least see something of the Opera House but be prepared for propagandist dishonesty.

This is an enjoyable experience and well worth the visit. You are given a headset, so even though the group was large, you could still hear the guide. Our guide was Zoe, she was cheerful and knowledgeable. We have been to the Opera House for the obligatory photo while in Sydney on previous trips, but glad we did this tour to receive a deeper insight into the history of this iconic building.
